Re: Offaly Hurling Championships 2015
Does anyone know why Brosna Gaels gave a walkover to both Ballinamere and then Shamrocks today in hurling.

Re: Offaly Hurling Championships 2015
Agree was in Clara myself and as with all year Paddy Murphy stood out, head and shoulders the best player and only for him would fear for Ballinamere. The result for Ballinamere didnt matter as Clareen winning meant they were going into the relegation battle. The hurling wasnt the best but a good en...

Re: Offaly Hurling Championships 2015
If Ballinamere beat Belmont and Tullamore beat Seir Kieran then Ballinamere and Belmont both have 4 points so Ballinamere should go through to QFS then on head to head.

Re: New Minor & Senior Hurling Management
Belmont and Tullamore have 4 points each and Ballinamere have 2. Ballinamere play Belmont last game and Tullamore play Seir Kieran. What happens if the 3 teams finish on 4 points does it go down to scoring difference, is it also head to head if two teams finish level. There are a lot of games to pla...

Brian Gavin
So the Offaly Competitions Control commitee (CCC) were going to give Brian a one months ban for comments made about Padraig Pierce during a Clara Kilclonfert game. This would have put him out of refereeing the semi final this weekend until Croke Park cleared him. It is not like Offaly have that many...

New Hurling Manager
With Sid not seeking a third year in charge this means a new manager, hopefully it will be picked soon so they can review the offaly championship and get a good winter training plan in place. The list of names will be few.
I see Joe Errity and Keith Begley have also departed

Re: Offaly v Kildare, Senior football qualifier, 4th July
I agree the black card for the Kildare midfielder actually improved the team and he had an important part in their play. Offaly lost the way in midfield especially in second half were i would say in first half they broke even, what i was annoyed at was Kildare actually had more numbers around the br...

Re: Laois v Offaly – Leinster Hurling Quarter Final 7th Ju
Agree one hundred percent about O Connor Park being a fine stadium, when Tullamore won the hurling championship years ago they played Clonkill of Westmeath in Cusack Park the week or two after and the difference in the two is amazing. Tullamore is a very central stadium and its great to get all the ...
