Re: Junior Hurling Championship
By my reckoning, the Junior hurling quarter-final pairings are - Kinnitty v Edenderry Shinrone v Coolderry Ballinamere v Kilcormac, and Clareen v Killavilla your spot on with them pairings plain of the herbs. now the fun begins, no home advantage for any of the teams now, its knock out, its do or d...

Re: This weeks fixtures......anyone got them?
Both the Hurling and Football club championships are a joke.... Teams are only going through the motions at the moment, no intensity whatsoever.... 4 teams coming out of a group of 6 and sometimes 4 coming out of a 5 team group. Why not go back to 3 goups of 4? 2 strong groups and one so called weak...

Re: Offaly vs Cork - SHC Qualifier Rnd 2 07/07/2012
Ah good man Ollie. Like obviously James Dempsey was the problem against Galway. And not your tactics. Or your selection of players who clearly are not now up to inter-county hurling. Or your ridiculous decisions during the game. No it was definitley all the goalkeeper's fault!! In fairness to Kelly...

Re: Hurling Championship
And sorry that the 'feckin' u14 and u16 b competitions don't rank as important to you, it must be great to be so important and not to have to worry about the pesky feckers in the b competitions. Sorry, definitely didn't mean any offence by that comment.. I was just stating the fact there are rarely...

Re: Hurling Championship
What's the story with the Offaly GAA website, absolutly brutal for updating fixtures list... The last couple of weeks all I've seen is feckin U14 and U16 B hurling fixtures. FFS update it! They were able to tell us in the Offaly news section that there is a round of championship but no sign of the a...

Re: Offaly versus Kildare 16th June 2012
Wondering if there is any news on the team or how things are panning out for the weekend. Also wondering if Niall Mc is anyway close to getting free of injury. There is a big jump for these fellas to make to be competitive the next day but with the right application and honesty of effort, a moral v...

Re: Offaly Vs Wexford in the Leinster U21HC
Have to take our hats off to Laois, fair play to them they seem to be getting their act together at underage level and more power to them. Minors and u21s in a Leinster semi and we're out of both. It's actually quite scary to think how far we are going to be behind in say ten years time. We won't ev...

Re: SF Challenge, Offaly vs Laois, tonight in Mountmellick
I am just doing some research for college and was wondering if anyone could help me. Does anyone know if Tom Coffey comes from or has a connection with Edenderry or Rhode parishes? Thanks. Hahaha... Your hardly suggesting a bit of bias in his selection???? I was nearly expecting to see Pascal Kelle...

Re: Offaly Senior Inter County Hurling 2012
Connor Hernon back on the panel, St Rynaghs must have a great backline. 3 on the county panel, S Wynne, D Horan and C Hernon. Must be the darkhorses for this years championship. Just wondering could anyone tell me how a lad gets called into the panel after the league is over, his club don't play in...
