Re: Offaly SHC
Travelled down from the big smoke to watch the hurling on Sunday hoping for a Belmont/Rynagh final, can't have everything I suppose! Conditions were not ideal for the type of game that I felt Belmont and Rynaghs tried to play, rynaghs experience with the running game probably seen them through in th...

Re: New Managers for 2018
He seems to have a healthy pedigree and one would imagine his work with a 3rd level team in Tralee would give him experience of blending the u-21 set up into the senior panel. A positive appointment and hopefully our lads can row in behind him. More worrying is the hurling management situation. I wa...

Re: Offaly training gear
Tried a while back. Try sportsworld or whatever it's called now. Would be a great idea if training gear was for sale. But knowing the naïvity of our county board, it probably won't happen. Thanks for the response! I've tried and all they have is the stuff thats available on the O'neills website whi...

Offaly training gear
Just wondering does anyone know of anywhere where you can pick up the offaly training gear? Like the gear the lads would wear pre-match? Have tried colgans and the o neills online and walk in store in walkinstown, if anyone has any idea where you can pick it up it would be appreciated

Re: Offaly GAA - in Crisis
Eloquent response above. I'm not sure what Duignan expected the reaction to be. Shefflin did tweet on the same issue but phrased his comments in such a way as to sound at least objective. Duignan spilling over in Spillane and Brolly country now with comments like what he came out with. Fitzgerald ri...

Michael Duignan vs. Davy Fitz
whats everyones thoughts on Duignan/Fitzgerald back and forth over the weekend? Once again sunday game analysts forming a rod for their own back with the sort of comments that michael came out with, personally I see absolutely zero wrong with anything that Davey said in reply!

http://www.independent.ie/sport/gaelic-games/gaelic-football/flanagan-learned-of-offaly-axing-after-wife-saw-it-on-twitter-35904283.html If any element of this is true its a terrible indictment of the board. I for one could see progress under the flanagan tenure and am at a complete loss as to why h...

Re: offaly team versus westmeath
On the cunningham point, he is probably our most potent attacking threat at present and so by that logic keeping him as close to goal as possible whilst still having him involved in general play has to be a priority. I would like to see him at centre forward moving forward. We are going to be under ...

Re: offaly team versus westmeath
Maybe someone who was at the game can break down what it was that Westmeath were trying to achieve with there tactics? Certainly with their personnel and the wind advantage they would have been looking at taking a 6+ point advantage into the half time break.

Re: offaly team versus westmeath
Didn't get to see the game but listened to 103 on the wireless Niall Mc sounded like he struggled to affect the game as much as a player of his ability should have, hopefully the minutes he got stood him well for next week. Defensively we seemed to do well against what is by Leinster standards an im...

Re: Great News
Does anyone know if there will be an astro turf installed at the facility? Surely to have a facility like this is a wasted opportunity if we cannot provide guaranteed training surfaces for squads year round, independant of weather conditions? It seems to me that this may have been overlooked and if...
