Re: Leinster Senior Hurling Offaly V Galway
Ger Canning just announced before the Cork v Kerry match that Cork and Offaly hurled in Pairc ui Chaoimh. Final Score: Cork 3-22 Offaly 0-16. Jesus Wept. When was this played? It was played before the Cork/kERRY GAME. Wasn't at it, but heard all about it from 2 different sources along the lines of:...

Re: offaly v cork NHL
The reason Offaly always collapses in last 20 mins against the big team is becoz they have to work their backsides off for the preceding 50 minutes just to stay close. Cork were only in 2nd gear and Offaly were running themselves into the ground for most of the game, when Cokr upped it Offaly had no...

Re: Offaly Minor Hurling 2010
Have the draws been made yet? Why the optimism for this bunch? We are behind Westmeath and Carlow at this grade at this stage aft er the JP years. I saw KK playing in the U17 tournament in Mallow this yr and their are an awesome outfit. Big ,strong, muscular and loads of hurling. The scary thing is ...

Re: Offaly Minor Hurling Management 2010
Best of luck to them. We really need a gee up at minor. Losing to Carlow and Westmeath will become a habit of the rot continues. Fox's experience (though not ultimately successful) managing Leix should stand to him. Given the v impressive displays by Westmeath in the recent All Ire U16 we'll be doi...

Re: Offaly vs. Wexford match reaction
It's v hard to equate how Offaly could be so poor and yet come as close as they did to getting something out of the game. This doesn't reflect v well on a v game but limited Wexford side. The difference in sheer determination and attitude was colossal. Is it now expecting too much to expect an Offal...

Re: Time For A Complete Review Of Offaly Underage Hurling
Will never happen. Turkey's will never vote for Christmas. Any non-biased review of Offaly hurling would let rip at the County Board and therefore would never be commissioned. Offaly hurling RIP.

KK 4-18
Offaly 1-8
KK were only going through the motions for most of the game. Pathetic stuff.

fair play to Richie. We all see what Gerald McCarthy, after two yrs of failure, is doing to Cork Gaa. It talks courage to put the good of your own county before your own ego.

Re: GPA and Cork Hurlers
I personnaly hate that bunch of Cork hurlers. But don't underestimate the importance of the issue here. McCarthy simply cannot back down now if he does it'll show that a few bigheaded players can disrupt the whole system. I'd like to see the new bunch of players get on with things and have a sucess...

Re: Rhode V Kilmacud
Who said anything about square balls. I was referring to infringements on the goalkeeper. Shur if thats the case why bother have umpires at all. "The Umpire has the power to bring to the attention of the Referee, during a break in play, any instances of foul play or incursions onto the field o...

[quote="redser"]An absolute disaster. Rhode deserved this game by a country mile, a complete disaster of a result. quote] Rhode were hammered off the pitch by 14 men in the second half. Deserved it my backside. When Crokes upped it Rhode vanished without trace in the second half including ...
