Re: Under 13 Final.

Kilcormac / Killoughey keep churning out amazing underage teams. Huge pick obviously helps (Is it 5 primary schools?) but still. SCOIL MHUIRE AGUS CHORMAIC-Kilcormac SCOIL NAOMH BHRÍDE-Ballyboy SCOIL NAISIÚNTA CHIARÁIN NAOFA-Broughall MOUNT BOLUS NS-Mount Bolus SCOIL NAOMH SEOSAMH-Blue Ball SCOIL N...

Re: Meeting In Tullamore

mmmmm.... I’m hearing that the Scientologists are willing to fund floodlights for SBP, provided that they’re allowed to develop their own facilities in Birr😂😂😂 They should sell off SBP altogether and use the funds from the sale to install floodlights in OCP. I await your responses to this measured ...

Re: Senior A Hurling 2019

Rynaghs down key men Niall Wynne and Pat Camon. With Danny Maloney and Simon Og Lyons gone it makes Camons loss even greater at the back, but sure what can they do only give it their all. Wet conditions forecast to, wont make for free flowin hurlin in either game at weekend. According to the grapev...

Re: Meeting In Tullamore

Well unfortunately for you I have organised a meeting of a “deity powered group” next week and we would like to meet the county board, the high powered group and your extremely higher powered group. mmmmm.... I’m hearing that the Scientologists are willing to fund floodlights for SBP, provided that...

Re: Meeting In Tullamore

Change would be great for the people backing up the county board no where we are where we are with people like ye I’m no fan of the county board, but this “high-powered” group have absolutely zero mandate whatsoever. Did they approach every club in Offaly? I highly doubt it. Who do they think they ...

Re: Senior A Hurling 2019

The Grand Canal derby in a county semi final. I’ve a sneaky feeling about Belmont. It would be their first time to beat Rynagh’s in knockout championship hurling I’m sure. Only for their own indiscipline, they’d have pipped their neighbours in the round robin. Then again, that bit of history is ther...

Re: Senior B Hurling 2019

Fair play to Carrig and Riverstown. They face Clodiagh Gaels in their semi. Lusmagh put up a good score as well, accounting for Tullamore. They face Seir Kieran. Two weeks time. I also see that Shamrocks got relegated by KK’s second team. If I remember correctly, they ran Ballinamere close last year...

Re: Senior A Hurling 2019

Birr 0-18 Shinrone 0-15 I would have to say I am quiet happy with that for a few reasons. Not much people gave Birr a chance, but unfortunately for Shinrone that suited Birr. Shinrone made some awful decisions in the first half and hurling with that wind they needed to start well they done anything...

Re: Senior A Hurling 2019

I always think when and if a team win a senior B and go Senior A, and they already have a Senior A team, they should have a stab at fielding a second senior A team...I wonder is that allowed only no team goes ahead with it for logistical reasons..has any club ever done it? Sarsfields in Tipp did it...

Re: Senior A Hurling 2019

Nice little double header of Senior Football Quarter Finals in O'Connor Park this Sunday for any football supporters. Pity the same can't be said about the senior hurling quarter finals. One in O'Connor Park on the Saturday and one in St Brendan's Park on the Sunday. Bit of a disaster really that t...

Re: Next Offaly Senior Hurling Manager

He was in Clareen on Sunday along with Tommy Byrne, County Board Chairman. That is just priceless. Can you imagine the chat! Tommy giving Michael Fennelly advice and heads up on the merits and non merits of our potential county hurlers! Or, they could have been talking about backroom team members, ...
