Re: Senior Hurling semi finals - 03/10/2010

Colm Cassidy also came onto the pitch during the brawl trying to pull lads away. He was also seen on still on the pitch after the brawl trying to get lads to calm down. Don't see much difference between him and Shaun. Should he get a ban too? First man in from off the sideline is the one who sets t...

Re: Senior Hurling semi finals - 03/10/2010

Yes Townman, it was no flash in the pan and it proves that their is hurling in the North of the county. Ye deserve huge credit for keeping both codes going so strongly. Unfortunately their are people from the South (hopefully only in the minority) that dont give the likes of Tullamore any credit. B...

Re: Senior Hurling semi finals - 03/10/2010

I think a few people on here are taking away from what was a great Tullamore win. KK through everything they had and more at the Blues but in fairness to the them they showed character and didnt lie down. I dont know who it was for sure that did take Kelly out near the end but what I do know is tha...

Re: Senior Hurling semi finals - 03/10/2010

I'm not from tullamore or K/K either but once the 60 minutes was played there can't be a replay it doesn't matter if he only played 2 seconds of injured time. as i said before if K/K had to stick to playing hurling instead of acting the mick they could of won today. but in all fairness greatdayfort...

Re: Senior Hurling semi finals - 03/10/2010

Just on the other semil-final that was on today, i have to say well done to Coolderry they played a lovely brand of hurling in which the management Ken Hogan has them playing i know people will say Kinnitty were brutal but coolderry played some great hurling today and are strong and fit its hard to ...

Re: Senior Hurling semi finals - 03/10/2010

So many aspects of that second game today were an absolute disgrace. The utter confusion between the linesman and the referee for the first sending off (they still got the wrong player), the mass brawl, the playing of 3 minutes extra time when 10 were warranted and finally the ugly scenes at the en...

Re: County senior hurling championship

I Though the supporter that ran on start boxing with the tullamore player's as i was in the stand he also was out on the field at the end looking for the ref didn't think he was from tullamore. Johnny Pilkington should have more cop on than that what he did at the end running after the ref. as for t...

Re: Senior Hurling semi finals - 03/10/2010

Great stuff lads, those games appear all the more intriguing with such previews. It's a Kinnity Tullamore final for me. Kinnity with a team that revolves around Rigney's passion and flair and a forward line that can keep the scoring clock ticking over. Tullamore with an exceptional defence to quash...
