Re: Hastings cup u21 football

Grand job......I was misinformed............a bit trickier so ............and they won tonight against Westmeath in a challenge and a few of the players on both Senior and U-21 panels started.....so fairplay to them! Maybe I spoke prematurely...

Re: Hastings cup u21 football

I am not thinking that Pascal should have got the job over McDonnell. McDonnell is more than capable of doing, at the least, as good a job as Pascal. Its just little things that make me question how serious he is about the U-21s. He has done an absolutely fantastic job with the Seniors and I hope he...

Re: Hastings cup u21 football

Offaly lost again today, don,t know the score, but I would be questioning McDonnell's commitment to the U-21s. He started the same team that were well bet by Cavan last week. I would think with the first round of the U21 starting on the 14th of Feb that the full team should of been out today instead...

Re: Hurling Managers and predictions

Ray Gavin from Westmeath is the Tullamore manager. I think he managed Castlepollard or maybe Castletown and was a Senior Westmeath hurling selector last year.

Re: Supporters Club Revival

Confusion??? Well its just that only 8/9 hurlers came in to town on the Club Faithful New Year's Eve Walk and about 30+ footballers and maybe it just manifests how together the footballers are(who are winning) and likewise how the hurlers are not as much(who are losing and have to play Kilkenny (no...

Re: O'Byrne Cup 2013

Yeah and it's great to get a chance to play Kildare before the championship in a competitive game and see how far Offaly have really come.

Re: Supporters Club Revival

Could it be that the turn out of the footballers, compared to the hurlers, on the New Year's Eve Walk will be reflected in their on field performances this year.......

Re: O'Byrne Cup 2013

But I think it's plain to see... We're going to have to carry a free-kicker...even let Mulhall up from The goals to kick them all....will be the difference in the close games... Onwards and upwards Shocking to think that a county that has claim to two of the best free takers of all time, Matt Conno...

Re: 2012 Leinster Club Championships

Well done to K/K on Sunday! I was at the last two Leinster finals, both at the same venue, and its great to see two different Offaly clubs as back to back Leinster Champs. I fancied K/K to get to the Leinster final but to then get destroyed by whoever they met there. I saw them scrape over Shamrocks...
