Means you can employ one fulltime coach to run the development squads, schools of excellence/secondary school training /s+q training ect. Knowing us this will be wasted somehow.

Colin Egan latest hurler to go down dual player route. I'm hearing the football lads are trying to turn 2 others as well. Sid being played like a fiddle here.

Re: Offaly Senior Hurling Management 2012

I read that Diarmuid O’Flynn piece. So Dooley has had 4 years, won 4 matches out of 14 and O’Flynn thinks he was forced out. Hel-lo-oh! Would you not realise even now that this was a ploy to distract Cork and that you fell for it hook, line and sinker? Did you even bother to investigate the specifi...

Re: Offaly v Cork, SHC qualifier, 25/6/2011

I hope to God we don't end up reading anything more about "battling spirit" and "honourable defeat". Honourable defeat is fine every so often, but after a while they get very sickening. Five points still with a couple of minutes left.... Well that's exactly what will be said. Let their be no doubt ...

Re: Páirc Uí Chaoimh to OCP in 150 minutes

Portlaoise can be bypassed by taking the first exit off the motorway. To make it you would have to get to Dunkettle from the park in half an hour which would be very tough. Wouldnt fancy trying it myself. I've often been below at Dunkettle 20 minutes after the final at club games down at PUC. They ...

Re: Leinster Senior Hurling Offaly V Galway

Ger Canning just announced before the Cork v Kerry match that Cork and Offaly hurled in Pairc ui Chaoimh. Final Score: Cork 3-22 Offaly 0-16. Jesus Wept. When was this played? It was played before the Cork/kERRY GAME. Wasn't at it, but heard all about it from 2 different sources along the lines of:...

Re: offaly v cork NHL

The reason Offaly always collapses in last 20 mins against the big team is becoz they have to work their backsides off for the preceding 50 minutes just to stay close. Cork were only in 2nd gear and Offaly were running themselves into the ground for most of the game, when Cokr upped it Offaly had no...

Re: Offaly Minor Hurling 2010

Have the draws been made yet? Why the optimism for this bunch? We are behind Westmeath and Carlow at this grade at this stage aft er the JP years. I saw KK playing in the U17 tournament in Mallow this yr and their are an awesome outfit. Big ,strong, muscular and loads of hurling. The scary thing is ...
