Re: Offaly GAA is in Some State
Hitting rock bottom is having your senior hurling side hammered by an understrength Galway U21 side in a challenge match.

Re: Offaly V Tipperary team
Ya, Tipp will be worrying themselves silly at Offaly.
Tipp will won by whatever they decide to.

Main topic for discussion on Premierview is where the quarter finals will be held as they clash with the Garth Brook's concerts.

Re: OFFALY UNDER 21 HURLING
Is it asking too much for Offaly to field hurling sides where some of the players aren't massively overweight?

Re: County Board
All these pts are totally irrelevant to what happened last night where the County Board held back the appointment of an U21 management side as long as possible to make sure they'd be as weak as possible. That's a utter disgrace. As an aside I keep hearing about what great work Alan Mulhall is doing ...

Re: OFFALY UNDER 21 HURLING
The Offaly County Board should all resign with immediate effect. No more apologist BULLSH1T which pollutes this place. This is a utter disgrace what is happening Offaly hurling. People need to be held accountable or Offaly hurling is dead for ever.

Re: Un Cambio Es Bueno
Offaly hurling is dying before our own eyes and this Buck Face wum is trying to pretend every thing is great because of some mystical report that nobody except for his goodself even knows exists.

Re: Respect
I don't think its an issue for just this board but Offaly GAA in general. We are far too respectful of low standards and incompetence in Offaly GAA. This whole thread could be construed as an attempt to stifle criticism. Not to be critical of senior players, managment or county board officals in the...

Re: Respect
Unfortunately this isn't the first time on this board where the cult of "LoneShark" has been an issue. Unfortunately peer pressure and the close friendship of a few on here tends to make any sort of non-conforming voice fell very unwelcome.

Re: Offaly v Kilkenny
Fair fcuks to Ger Lough. Maybe those ex Offaly hurlers with big media profiles would take heed of the truth in his piece rather than shooting the messenger. Ger Loughnane has taken another swipe at Offaly's fitness levels in the wake of their Nowlan Park humiliation. The former Clare manager caused ...

Re: Offaly v Kilkenny
Loughnane is spot on. The likes of Regan throwing a big sulk on twitter again at GL. Regan's own son is involved with Leinster rugby which kinda symbolises where Offaly hurling is at.manfromdelmonte wrote:Ger Loughnane wasn't far wrong so

Re: Offaly v Kilkenny
John Allen or any other manager worth their salt wouldn't come near Offaly unless there was serious money being put up. Maybe the County Board can spend the hurling development budget on an outside manager.
Should the County Board take responsibility for the state of hurling and resign in masse?

Re: Offaly v Kilkenny
Hopefully the lads won't humiliate Ireland and the GAA in front of the SKY cameras on Sunday. I've been told Cody and co. have been told to try and not do the dog on it and leave the game somewhat competitive.
