Re: Offaly GAA - in Crisis
There is a solution, it's a drastic one but one that will really pin the county board into action be it resignations or putting the plans into action that they have been talking about for the last two years. The whole county has to boycott the county board for anything to be noticed. Club players, ...

Re: Offaly vs. Waterford 2017 Hurling Qualifier
Shocking absolutely shocking bad I agree but as Brian Carroll said Kevin Ryan statement during the week that Offaly needed to avoid a hammering and todays game plan was stupid . Surely even county board can see that Kevin Ryan must go quickly . Im hearing Ryan is well in with the board and cost a l...

Re: A chance for atonement - Westmeath v Offaly, Leinster SH
Random thoughts - That win was hugely significant. It keeps Offaly in the top five in Leinster. Moreso in the event the proposed ‘round robin’ in both Munster and Leinster gets adapted in time for 2018’s championship season. Offaly don’t want to find themselves outside that group. And provision for...

Didn't take long for the likes of Daithi Regan/ Padraigh Horan to come under attack from the board apologists who infest this place. Some things never change.

Re: Offaly v Westmeath, Mullingar, Sunday 1st May
Solutions have been given by many over the yrs Ive been here but inevitably the y have been ganged up on by the "protect the CCB at all cost" brigade on here. If you or anyone else genuinely cared about Offaly hurling you'd start by asking serious questions of the Offaly CB and the promotion of hur...

Leinster MHC Kilkenny 3-25 Offaly 1-13 (FT)
Cant fault them for effort But the reality is they wouldn't win the club championship in KK.

Re: Offaly Hurling where do we go from here?
Make no mistake about it KK roar laughing at Offaly hurling. You have to admire folk who can still knock a laugh at something that's been going on for nigh on 15 years! I lived and worked there when we regularly beat and they hated Offaly with passion. They was something about the way we were able ...

Re: Offaly Hurling where do we go from here?
KK –I find their fans are generally as sporting and gracious in victory as well as defeat – a cut above. Players emerging onto the airways after hibernating on planet Cody are surprising likable, well-rounded and all round grand lads. This has dispelled the stereotype of robotic and clinical android...

Re: Offaly Hurling where do we go from here?
I think Offaly should just grow a pair of balls and regrade permanently to the Christy Ring. The will, desire or organisational power isn't there within the county. We are a hopeless little county really. Ugly but true.

Re: Offaly vs Clare - 2015 Senior Hurling Qualifier R1
Seeing how good damn awful Laois are, this has the potential to be the biggest beating in the history of the hurling championship.
