Re: DIV 3 NFL predictions and general chit chat.

dont attack me but just throwing this in as an idea to keep Cian Johnson fresh and involved, if we are struggling with frees why not let him practice in training and give him close in ones etc and get him going..often the great players, as correctly pointed out above, are out of the game for long pe...

Re: DIV 3 NFL predictions and general chit chat.

Offaly did very well in first half but second half was a different story by all accounts (wasnt at the game)..without some key players we still had a decent team out, and 0-13 is a fairly decent return against a team we will percieve should be up in Div 2 at least...conceding 0-20 will be pointed as...

Re: DIV 3 NFL predictions and general chit chat.

yeah he took a right wallop that day, hard to believe that is still an issue affecting him...Its these games I thought we would really need him most, what ever about the so called perceived weaker teams in the division..

Re: DIV 3 NFL predictions and general chit chat.

ah Limerick beat them (Cork) in the McGrath cup a few weeks back, I still think they will be better in the League than the McGrath cup...not totally upto speed with the full goings on, are the lads mentioned above, Cunningham, Moloney etc out injured or what?

DIV 3 NFL predictions and general chit chat.

First weekends predicitons: Round 1: Derry V Leitrim - Derry to win by 5 Cork V Offaly - Cork to win by 5 Longford V Louth - Longford to win by 3 Tipp V Down - Down to win by 2 Derry (home) should account for Leitrim, Cork (home) will probably have a scoring forward or 2 more than Offaly so I think ...

Re: O’Byrne Cup

havent been on here in ages, yes great to see Offaly in O'Byrne cup final, you can only play whats infront of you on the pitch, a great win and some good scores put up in getting to the final, Longford now in final, lets hope we can win abit of silverware and get confidence going for league...

Re: Senior A Hurling 2019

people may bemoan how St. Ryanaghs limped out of Leinster on Sunday, and so be it, they were our county champions, and as I say, the bench mark to get decent Leinster Club run is firstly win your county final. R/E are a fine side, and have hurled well as a team over the last couple of years, despite...

Re: Senior A Hurling 2019

Fair enough, but be a bit more clear in your posts. So there is disharmony within the rynaghs club with player and/or mgt./quote] Very hard to be a bit more clear in my posts if I state at the start that I don't want to be naming names or divulging any great details suffice to say ide guess it's a ...

Re: Senior A Hurling 2019

did I hear there was a bit of lets say difference of oppinion in the Rynaghs camp after the county final win over Birr, an extremely reliabe source with connections was asking if I heard anything, I heard rumours but he had alot more info which I wont go into here as technically its heresay...pity i...

Re: Senior A Hurling 2019

you would wonder if they are focused on going far in leinster or happy to just get over the line winning the county championship. I'd say there is an attitude of giver it a rattle versus the fact of lets go win this. Rynaghs will know they are not a top class outfit, if any other club in Offaly thi...

Re: Senior A Hurling 2019

If rynaghs beat "edit" rathdowney then that be end of it. cuala will beat them up and down the road if they get to meet. would Birr/Belmont/Coolderry/Kilcormac/Shinrone meet a similar fate in your view??..Rynaghs may not have a platter of forwards to get scores but they have the best defence in the...

Re: Senior A Hurling 2019

unfortunately, I couldnt make the final after being at most games all year, just one of these things, listened to it on Radio 3, good commentary considering they had the Laois and Westmeath finals to cover too, Brian Whelehan lost the plot on the panel and the language of him, while acknowleging his...
