Re: Offaly Senior Hurlers 2023
I think the u20s took the reality from a lot of people. We are a long way off the pace, laois, Westmeath get a hammering most of the time the last few years and we are about their level give or take. We are a Joe Mcdonagh team and deserve to be their. We are going in the right direction and it’s ge...

Re: Offaly Senior Football Team - Championship 2023
Reading alot of above, I'll repeat this for God knows how many times - how come the cream of U20s in other counties (and we won an All Ireland I stress) seem to be almost automatically in Senior squad of their county the following year and are regular starting in first 15 within another year.. We a...

Any idea of throw in time for Saturday?Bord na Mona man wrote: ↑Mon Jun 12, 2023 3:03 pm Winners play Galway. I reckon Tipp will want to go into the Galway game on the back of a big win, rather than just doing enough to beat Offaly.

Re: U20 hurlers 23
During a break in play around about the 20th minute, there was a random roar from the crowd. I can only assume it was for an attack on Screeney – he had about 20,000 minders in the crowd. Cormac Egan was down injured in that incident, waiting to get attention when one of the Cork backs came over an...

Re: U20 hurlers 23
Watched back on the first half last night. Jayus the antics of some of the Cork players was nothing short of disgraceful. It’s actually worse than I thought it was on the day. The worse being towards the end of the half after Screeney was deliberately tripped going through and as he was on the groun...

Re: Offaly Senior Football Team - Championship 2023
On the game itself, a pretty poor show again. The amount of times that Cavan turned over ball on us was shocking - great pace in their attack when they did and it was generally straight down the middle. Our kick outs were a disaster- nothing more to say. Raymond Galligan by comparison- well we could...

Re: Offaly Senior Football Team - Championship 2023
Any one enlighten us on the two straight reds ? Dylan Hyland had to go. Straight striking offence. No idea re Jack McEvoy - possibly either did something in the immediate bit of a schmozzle after the Hyland strike or maybe he said something to the ref but his red was before play resumed after the H...
