Re: Respect
Over The Black Spot you are right, it is unfair we write with anonymity whilst others are now known public figures and I will also cease posting for the respect of those who put their names forward and also the public figures who I post about.

Re: Offaly v Kilkenny
At this stage its all our faults that things are in this mess, some more than others, get up off yer holes and think about what it is that ye can offer, and if ye can offer nothing tangible via help, (physically), then offer cash, and if ye cant offer any of these then shur up! Bad day at the offic...

Re: Offaly v Kilkenny
Our county board would chew you, or anybody else, up with this approach Obversant. There are protocols to adhere to least of all that these people are human beings that deserve some respect for coming forwar to represent all of us at this level. The GAA beyond County level would not and rightly so l...

Re: Offaly v Kilkenny
I know it is very easy to be critical, no matter where we look at yesterdays contest we can find fault, be it, with players or management alike. Kilkenny just murdered us, there was blood everywhere and unfortunately it was all ours. The only thing we won yesterday was the 'toss' and our decision to...

Re: football championship 2014
Getting anybody out of the County Board is not really the solution, I believe, as these individuals have vast experience of how the GAA operates and given the situation we, as a County, find ourselves in it would most likely confound our problems for an even longer time period. Mistakes are human na...

Re: Something Positive Here
Nice idea Killeagh....lol.
I expect there are many mouths to feed when it comes to Offaly hurling needs.
How many club coaches/trainers have any type of proper coaching training? We need to educate those that are at the coalface not those sitting in an ivory tower. Educate the many not just one.

I expect that these funds would have been granted on the value of submissions made by our CB to Central Council.
These funds will already be earmarked and someone with connections to the CB could tell us where the money is destined to be spent.
Anybody?

Re: OFFALY Hurling 2014
€45,000 a year grant from GAA to Offaly CB to improve hurling at grassroot level within the county! Its a start I suppose.
