I am still really annoyed that Paul Mac was given Black and the nasty vicious foul by K Martin was ignored....
I felt it deserved a straight RED........

Re: NFL Division 3 2019
I hear Niall wont play for a while as he rehabs an injury. The "tackle" on the OY player late on in the right corner back position out on the sideline looked to me , in the stand so a log way away, to be around the neck & dragged down...Black or Red ???...... Far more serious than Paul...

Do you have a link to where I might see Singerson and/or Fitzgibbon panels
or did your info come from an article ?

Re: Fr Manning Cup Update
Is the Shield for the teams that dont make or that lose in, the semi-finals. Sligo who beat Offaly won the Cup. These are players who took part ( they were probably a few more) Can anyone list their CLUBS ? Anto Lambe; David Carty, Eoghan Hockey, Mark Bolton; Lee Pearson, Adam Strong, Steven Joyce; ...

Re: Leinster Club Hurling
You might find this map to be of some interest https://www.johngrenham.com/browse/coun ... nty=Offaly (Kilcolman marked no. 30) That map is very interesting but is not totally accurate in relation some Clubs, which are based on the Catholic parishes and the map is of the Civil (Church of Ireland) pa...

Re: O'Byrne Cup 2019
A bit crazy starting this before teams can go training. Is it only Super 8 teams that can't start training? When can Offaly (H & F) start training ? I see a lot of great people supporting "The Grand Canal Run". Great initiative and display of support for current players by many of the...

Re: Additions to County panels Football and Hurling
From the football final I was not impressed by Kyle Higgins but there were 2 forwards on show I would like to see added to the panel: Joe Maher and the lad wearing 15 for Rhode. Excellent player and kicked a heap of great points. Any chance of him being available ?

Re: Additions to County panels Football and Hurling
I dont believe Junior ( Senior B & Inter) Club lads are all ignored. I remember a hell of a midfielder from a then Junior hurling club, J Kelly !!! Back in 59 2 lads from the north west Offaly junior club (Officially South Offaly) formed 2/3 of the County Senior full back line Sean Ryan at 2 &am...

Re: Defunct clubs
St. Kieran's had 2 existances, First in the 1930's/40's ( & possibly earlier) now Shannonbridge... The second coming as it were was in the Fifties when an Intermediate team played under the name drawing players from Doon and the Clonfinlough part of Shannonbridge (or should it be Clonmacnoise Pa...

Re: Senior B Football 2018
One of the names I dont know so hardly fair to name the other.... Was disappointed with Joey O'C display..... Did not shine....... Willie Mul got motoring late on after being very quiet for most of the game but good to see him in action. I was told he had been out injured for some time. WI had a har...

Re: Senior B Football 2018
I dont see much (none really) Club games but was at the WI V Rtnaghs game, by accident really. Rynaghs much the better in the first half and should have been much more than just 3 points up at HT. WI started the second better and got back level but Rynaghs woke up and restored the 3 lead. WI then sw...

Re: Senior A hurling 2018
Think all clubs have played in OCP enough for it not to matter. Then why bring KK and Kinnitty to OCP? Ridiculous. Out of the way of both clubs. Just for the craic I googled Killoughy to Tullamore & Birr, Quicker to Tullamore so then did Kilcormac to Tullamore, Killoughy to Birr 25 min. Kilcorm...

Re: Offaly Senior Footballers Championship Thread
Disapointed to lose but Clare were better............ Could have had a few goals in the first half and also we seemed lucky not to concede a peno twice. We got a handy enough peno but Panda was "carred" in the second half and he gave it against us............ Fitness is still an issue. Ant...

Re: Offaly Senior Footballers Championship Thread
Additionally, we are only county that have put embargo on use of u20s. There are a few of the u20s - maybe 3 or 4 that could be considered for senior panel (Cian Johnson included). I'd be in favour of them concentrating on U20 until they are out but could be part of senior panel. . Remember that on...
