Re: Another crisis in Offaly football

Heard an interesting thing today. Apart from Cieran Mc, Scott Brady and John Reynolds who were not asked back there was a big group of guys who were asked and wouldn't or couldn't give the commitment including Ger Rafferty, Conor Evans, Stepher Lonergan, Matt Mitchell, Karol Slatts, John Coughlan, ...

AFL Trials

Anybody see the papers today that Offaly's Eoin Carroll was involved with Tadgh Kennelly's AFL camp in Dublin along with 13 other players? A testimony to his potential but Offaly need this kind of a player for the future.

Re: 2012 Football Transfers

Did any transfers materialise in the end? I heard Bracken from Raheen is transferred to a club in Dublin. Brian Connor and Noel Andrew Graham supposedly heading to Boston for the summer so they will be a massive loss for their respective clubs, especially for Cappincur who would have been hoping to ...

Homepage Broken?

Is it just me or is everyones Uibhfhaili homepage not working? This has been the case for the last week for myself. I have to access the forum via googling uibhfhaili discussion board rather than the old way of just going onto the homepage and accessing the forum from there.

2012 Draws

Anybody know when the draws are made for the respective championships?

Also, the leagues are due to commence on the first weekend of Feb. Anyone able to shed any light on who is relegated and promoted between the divisions?

Re: Offaly senior football team 2012

Liam Brennan never attended the trials. Its a pity. Noel Graham Senior or Frankie Brennan could be the last Cappincur men to be involved in Offaly teams from my recllection but am open to correction.

Re: Lost in the Bog

What rule is there stopping Cappincur players from playing if the 3 clubs do go ahead with this? None as far as I can see. I can see Cappincur players who do want to play coming on board if it is set up. There is a meeting on tonight between the 4 clubs to follow on from the clubs individual meeting...

Re: Vincents

It is actively been discussed at the minute with the county board pushing the 4 clubs to discuss it. Meetings have already happened between two committee members from each club. There have been player meetings, and discussions at AGMs. From what I have heard there are positive vibes from all four c...
