Re: Offaly Fitzgibbon and Sigerson

Bit of a suprise for Sullivan not to be starting for Athlone in either of their games. coffey was over them as well.

From what I hear Darby had a fine game at wing forward against DIT.

It is disappointing to see so little of hurlers making their college team. Its been like this for a few years now.

Re: London v Offaly (at Ruislip)

A win no matter what is absolutely crucial for this team. On paper Its a very weak team with nothing in the forward line that will worry teams but theres not much else making themselves available and standards have dropped in the county. Look we all know the squad is short on quality but this game w...

Re: 2015 Walsh cup

Physically he is a big lad and that wont be an issue.

I just feel hes too young still and has plenty to learn hurling wise. Let the lad focus on making an impression with his club at senior level and u21 with the county and then consider promoting him to the next level.

Re: Killeigh and Killurin

Yes should see them being strong contenders to win the intermediate. Killeigh have been playing division two hurling and made the semi final stage of junior A last season. They have been one of the stronger junior A teams for quiet a while. Killurin made the quarter final of the intermediate champio...

Re: 2015 Walsh cup

My own view is that he is time enough being called into the senior panel. He still has alot to learn and prove at senior club level. Saw him in the minor semi final this year and he certainly didnt have things his own way. Got very frustrated a number of times when he was blocked and hooked and lost...

Re: 2015 O' Byrne Cup

The Gracefield trio of Mullally, Ruairí Allen and Ciarán Kiely put in some great hits and really got stuck into their tackles O' Byrne cup or not, Id expect nothing else from any Gracefield player when they see the blues. It was an important win for confidence. When I saw the team named I was a bit...

Re: Rhode in Leinster - 2014

I think Bracknagh boy summed the game up pretty well. With the game plan Rhode adopted they had to be very economical with their possession. Unfortunately the basic passing let them down. I think 3 or 4 simple passes in first half went over lads heads and out over sideline. It was a killer to see af...

Re: Rhode in Leinster - 2014

Agreed killeighman. He was stirrin trouble all second half. And he raised his hand to young mcnamees head also. He seems to find trouble alot.

Re: Rhode in Leinster - 2014

Townman dont be too hard on them. The vincents player in question got away with at least 5 elbows at players and a girly slap at young conor mcnamees head in the first half. I would be of the opinion he was very lucky to stay on the field. Probably one of the most unsporting players in the game. Har...

The very best of luck to Rhode on Sunday. Tear into them and dont drop the heads at any stage. It will be tough, very tough at times, but ye can do it.

Re: Kilcormac-Killoughey in Leinster - 2014

Hard Luck to KK. Thought they were very unlucky not to win it in normal time. In extra time they struggled but kept trying. The loss of Ger Healion was massive for extra time and like Rhode teams in the past, a little short of quality on the bench was a big factor. Have to say fair play to Slevin wh...

Bennettsbridge are an Excellent Team but they nothing Shamrock can't handle. Shamrock are an Excellent team as well. Best of Luck to Shamrock. If Ballinamere can beat the best in Leinster Last year they no reason Why Shamrock can't do it this year. Shamrocks have made progress this year after a num...
