Re: Offaly Senior Football Club Championship 2011
Cheers for Clarifying that True Red... it did seem like a low scoreline, but the person updating the website probably just made an error and repeated the scoreline from the ER/Ferbane game. Edenderry have made big strides this year, which is great to see.

Re: Offaly Senior Football Club Championship 2011
Getting back to matters football related, there are some interesting 1/4 finals in prospect. are the scorelines on the offaly gaa results section correct? Did Edenderry and Erin R. really only score 3 points each in their final group games? If that is the case, then it doesn't exactly bode well for ...

Re: Challenge Game Search
Hi Dinkyb and cherry99, Your site is a good idea and good luck with it. Just a piece of advice about trying to promote it online - don't be dishonest with your audience. It is clear that you are from the site (and the same person), so be honest with people. Say 'hey everyone, I have a site that coul...

Re: New York 'Stuff'
Would I be correct in saying that this makes 5 Offaly natives on the 2teams? 3 on Offaly and 2 on tipp? 13 a side too .

Re: Offaly Hurlers catch a break?
Well said manfromdelmonte. There is so much shite talked about this and that being 'no good for the development of hulring'. In reality that means... no good for 'our team succeeding in the short term'. Hurling people (of which I am one) are so insular and self-obsessed it is unreal. The offaly sout...

you remind me of a young Walt Kowalski, LS. A good balance of anger towards pretty much everything, rather than a particular hatred of one club in particular

Re: Hurling to return to St Brendan's Park
In other news... LLKJ has announced that all finals will be moved to his back garden for the foreseeable future. His drive to push this through has been a fully integrated above-and-below-the-line PR campaign, with his reps advocating the cause in online chat forums and high profile spokespersons ta...

Re: Junior A Football
What are people's opinions on how the Junior is being organised this year? In my opinion it is very well done. Plenty of league matches in the Spring and early Summer to give everyone time to prepare for Championship and then games organised in good succession over the Summer months - as a player it...

Re: Offaly Senior Hurling Management 2012
100K, shit really?? Just out of curiosity, how do they actually write this type of thing off both tax wise and also on the county board financial statements? Joe Dooley said that Offaly had 100 get togethers this year. Lets persume the following for next year: 1. Offaly get further and have 150 sess...

Re: Minor Hurling Championship
Will Lusmagh be fielding a B team, or what happens to the other 13+ players? Also, why just 2 players eligable - is there a quota system in place?

Re: Offaly u21 Hurling
20 points to 7. Dublin have scored 18 of last 19 pts. I think they are playing backs and forwards for 2nd half. Can't wait til Offaly get their chance to be forwards.

Ferbane/Bemont Underage
Hi All, As I know there are a lot of people from the Ferbane area on the forum, I thought it might be a good place to start a topic with this heading. Over the last number of years I have noticed that Ferbane/Belmont underage club has really come to the fore. Now, I must say that a lot of this is ju...
