Re: 2017 O'Byrne Cup campaign
Pat won't have learnt a whole lot today. Carlow I.T. were very weak. Probably shouldn't be at this level in the first place. Onwards and upwards for Wednesday.

Re: Snoop Dogg - Offaly jersey
Spot on. Its Pat Cornally. Himself and Kieran Coyne always travelled to Wimbledon and Kieran never went without his Offaly jersey. Great to see Pat continuing the tradition.

Re: Division 4 league final Offaly v Longford
Raging to be missing out on Kavanaghs and the Big Tree but will hopefully frequent them for the Dublin game, all going well. Is the team named? Just havent seen it as of yet.

Re: Tomas O Connor
While I'd question his motives, I for one would welcome O'Connor with open arms. We have some nice forwards but a bit of size up there is never a bad thing. He's never going to be a prolific scorer but no doubt Niall, Panda and Mulhall would thrive off the dirty ball he'd win. Probably all hot air a...

Re: Messages of Support for Division 4 Final
Best of luck to Pat and the lads this evening. Division 4 finals are not where we want to be but its a start. I'll be watching in Carlow after work where they'd give their right arms to be in this final. Fingers crossed we can get a bit of silverware before the big one in a few weeks time.

Re: U21 FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP 2015
And that's not sour grapes about the game. I live in Carlow and couldn't make the Tullamore Og v Clara match. Still gobsmacked that Tullamore can join up with other clubs under the ancient Parish rule

Re: U21 FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP 2015
Tullamore Og is the biggest joke I've ever come across in Offaly gaa. I have nothing against amalgamations if clubs can't field teams. But joining anybody with Tullamore when over a quarter of the whole county lives there is laughable. As a good friend and clubman of mine said, I'd rather never win ...

Re: Offaly Senior Football Management 2015
Championship Draw 2015 on Rte tonight. I'm always at my most optimistic in the hour after the draw. Then the League slowly saps it out of me. I'm sure Pat will be watching on with interest. Carlow at home would do for me

Re: Offaly Senior Football Management 2015
Kevin I think they just want to ratify a management team as opposed to appointing a manager only for a row to erupt over selectors. Anyway best of luck to Pat and his team. Offaly football is at a low ebb but Pat is definitely the top candidate in my eyes.

Re: football championship 2014
In the Senior I cannot see past Rhode. Its not as simple as stopping Niall anymore. He was fairly quiet against Clara yet Rhode won comfortably. Rhode are defending in numbers and attacking at pace. Very hard to get a handle on that. Edenderry will hope for a horrible wet day like 2011 but its Rhode...

Just in response to theman. You say Clara are lucky to be in the Junior B Final. They played the semi final twice and won it twice. Lucky???

Re: Clara v Durrow Junior B football S/F shambles
It's a strange one because on one hand Durrow didnt have to do this but lets say Durrow win the replayed game. Justice still wont have been done as Clara should be in the final but for a refereeing error. An unfortunate situation for all involved.

Re: Clara v Durrow Junior B football S/F shambles
Durrow have offered Clara a replay according to Kevin Corrigan. In the County Boards hands now. Fair play to Durrow GAA. Wonder will Tommy Anderson ref it
