Re: Offaly hurling championship predictions 2022

Don’t think they were relegated , but they did give a walkover or 2 at the end of the championship. As far as I can tell the following team will be Junior B this year Ballinamere Belmont Birr Crinkill Drumcullen Kilcormac/K. Lusmagh Shinrone St. Rynaghs H. Tullamore Yeah I think 3/4 teams gave walk...

Re: Offaly hurling championship predictions 2022

Re: Club Managers 22

Dubliner Ken Robinson is the new Edenderry manager according to local reports! Impressive CV by looks of it, interesting to see if he can get everyone on board.

Re: O'Byrne and Walsh cups 2022

Good game for the hurlers to get today, Galway with an experimental team by all accounts but good game to get before the league starts.
Someone at the game night have an insight into how we played

Re: National leagues 2022

I’d be more optimistic about the football , Meath only beat us by a point in Navan few years back, Cork no great shakes and we have them at home, Roscommon the same. A win against Clare would be a great start, it was between ourselves and them 3/4 years ago on score difference that decided who was p...

National leagues 2022

Just seen the fixtures in both codes , both extremely difficult. Galway away first and Limerick last in the hurling. Massive games for footballers in division 2 also , it’s where we want to be let’s hope we can acquit ourselves well in both.

Re: Club Managers 22

Edenderry have advertised for the senior football position. I always feel they tend to underachieve at senior level. They may need a manger that "gets the best" out of the team as the saying goes rather than some lad that will just come in and set them up if that makes sense? A John Courtney type f...

Re: Offaly Senior Football Championship 2021

Ferbane v Edenderry :missing cian ,james and oisin we will be up against it although i still think we can be more than competitive and if edenderry leave us in this game with a chance to win it, i think we will. a lot depends on their approach. prediction ferbane by 2. Rhode v shamrocks: shamrocks ...

Re: O'Connor Park lease debacle

I’d like to see this come to a conclusion very quickly, from what can only be described as the best year Offaly Gaa has had in over 20 years, to this unfortunate debacle. If a lease was agreed then it should be honoured. We go from getting Tomas O Se and having good vibes around the place , and with...

Re: Tomás Ó Sé appointed as selector with Offaly senior footballers

His experience will benefit the players no doubt. Maybe a downside would be will he still be a pundit on the Sunday Game will he be fully committed to the roll and the commute from Cork three nights a week will that happen. Great forward thinking from all involved, John doing great work but this wil...

Re: Club Hurling championship

Edenderry 2-14 Clodiagh Gaels 1-12 junior A championship first round. Good win on their return to the grade for the reds. CG looked poor at times and but for a 15 minute spell in the second half they played second fiddle to Edenderry who got a great start going 5 to no score up in the first half. Gr...

Re: Offaly Senior Football Championship

Were Rhode missing a few key players? Two Niall’s, Sullivan and one or two more I’m lead to believe. Great win for Durrow regardless and it will give them a boost. Bracknagh were well in front against Edenderry who came back to draw the game. Seems to be open enough start to the campaign, Rhode will...
