Re: O’Byrne Cup

anyone know why the goal keeper got a black card at the end? I think he said something to the umpire after they got the last point. The Longford forward was definitely behind the line when he caught the ball. I think that Paddy D and Rigney were also arguing that the forward did an illegal hand pas...

Re: O’Byrne Cup

Johnston and Farrell made no impact when introduced, that could be a number of factors, college games during the week etc but over all I think Longford were stronger, fitter and more up for the game and they really made hay when we were down to 13 in the first half not scoring a lot but dominating p...

Re: O’Byrne Cup

I was at the 1993 final many moons ago, those Meath teams were absolute butchers and wouldn’t think twice about putting your teeth down your throat. Looking forward to Saturday now and hopefully the boys can do the business best of luck to all

Re: Kehoe Cup 2019/2020

A one point win, couldn’t make it to the game but listening on the radio it sounded like a good battle considering the time of year it is. Think we had close to 20 wides which we may work on! Great for the team to get some silverware, onwards to the league now step it up another gear.

The voting is over the board is picked,
So when will the "missing names" be released since according to "kingscounty" they were already picked on 13 Dec
Keep an eye out Christmas Eve lad and when you wake up Christmas morning the board will be under your tree

Re: Byrne v Duignan

And everybody breath !!! The voting is over the board is picked, now can we cut out all the judgement and pointless bickering and get on with improving things to come on and off the field. The new county board can be judged in time and the old board are thanked for their time and we must move on.

Re: Byrne v Duignan

Interesting times ahead for the new set up, big challenge for this group who I suspect will be under the spotlight from the get go, expectations will be high and results will be expected sooner rather than later. It will be interesting to see the 5 year plan and what results we can expect from it, o...

This doesn’t sound like it’s going to end well, whatever the outcome, from what I’ve seen and heard.

Re: Byrne v Duignan

Is this been televised and what time should we know the results? Its live on tg4 with subtitles and also live streamed (with the 5 euro pass) in English on offaly gaa tv. For the younger generation, Buff egan will be live on Snapchat and Instagram for live updates. If duignan wins there will be a s...

Re: Senior B Hurling 2019

Two chaps with the same name. (I think they are cousins.) To distinguish them, they use the townlands where they hail from. Carrickshock did the same when they had two Richie Powers. I would echo what you say about Coughlan at full back, one thing you might clarify POTH Tommy Walsh named at full ba...

I would echo what you say about Coughlan at full back, one thing you might clarify POTH Tommy Walsh named at full back and Tommy Walsh named at full forward with the village/ mountgale written in brackets, do Tullaroan draw players from other clubs or what’s the story do you know.

Re: Byrne v Duignan

So having listened to and read articles from both parties who are people leaning towards now, personally I would like to see change. In the past few years our county board seem to have been in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons rather than one of our teams actually winning something or progress...
