Re: U21 FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP
so just because michaels have had a stranglehold on the u21 championship for the last 12 odd years, its a joke???? cant see that being a valid point atal, its up to every other parish u21 teams to put in the same effort michaels have being putting in.

Re: Battle of Walsh Island
what happened in walsh island was scandlous,a total mass brawl. in fairness not too many players were involved, and there was no badness in the game itself. what happened was the two sets of subs and managers were side by side right in front of the stand which was always going to spell trouble, when...

Re: When do the club draws take place?
Looking at the football the senior is very predictable. Stroll in the park for Clara in their group. They have landed a very handy group again this year. Edenderry and themselves will walk out of that. Rhode and Tullamore would be expected to ease through their group. Ferbane are the team to watch ...

Re: Rhode Have new manager
On the topic of managers, I read this article from the hoganstand earlier (extract below). A couple of interesting points from it: 1. who is actually going to manage Clonbullogue from the 2 named and who is the other one going to manage? (You would think they would edit such a blatant mistake - but...

Re: Rhode Have new manager
Just on this subject, I seen the article in todays tullamore tribune and i was not aware kevin corrigan was in attendance at the rhode agm.He made some comments which included one which really p****ed me off, he said that there was a larger than usual turnout from senior players at the meeting, that...

Re: U21 Football Management
id be quietly confident about offalys chances against meath, as long as they aint muscled out of it they have a real good chance, best offaly u21 panel ive seen in a while and they have put alot off work in over the past couple of months, and if they do win they are in gracfield for the next round a...

Re: Clara vs Edenderry 9/10/11
delighted the town won, they have a very good young team. but the main reason clara lost is that they were thinking more about athy/carbury than edenderry, so ive no sympathy for them. well done to the reds

Re: Offaly Senior Football Club Championship 2011
clara 5-2 to beat rhode, dont know where the bookies get theses mental odds. can they not look back at the last 3 or 4 meetings of the two sides, all very close affairs. id say rhode 8-11 and clara 11-8 would be more like it
