Re: Offaly county team managements 2014
Has Brian fully completed his back room team at this stage or is he still trying to add strength and conditioning coaches etc. Has a training panel been established at this stage or will that be formalised the the next few weeks??

Re: New championship structure
That sounds like a great move. Is there any recommendations for changes to the hurling championships?

Re: Allianz-Hurling-league 1B
Just thought from looking at the highlights of the match which probably isn't a great reflection of the match, I thought that the scores Dublin were getting were coming from an Offaly man being beaten in a one on one situation. I think the team has to develop stronger support play, it seemed as if t...

Re: Media/Public Relations
I would have to agree with you lean times. I feel that the reporting of matches and results has vastly improved in the last year. Ultimately this helps to increase peoples interest in the championships. The next step now should be to begin reporting on intermediate and junior championship grades. Th...

Best of luck to Brendan on his retirement. Many good years of service to the Offaly jersey. A natural hurler and committed player.

Re: Hurling Championship
[quote="KillougheyGoBragh"]Its been a busy time in and around the Kilcormac-Killoughey club. Senior Hurling Final was a fantastic result and its great after all the effort that has been put in over the years at under-age level that the 'Holy Grail' of hurling has found itself destined for ...

Re: Hurling Championship
Drumcullen beat shamrocks by 2 or 3 points in the end. Poor game of hurling, Derek Molloy went off injured in the first half and was a huge loss.

Offaly senior hurling panel
Any word on the seniors for this year? Are they holding trials or commencing with a panel of players. Some new players spring to mind which could be added to the panel, Ciaran Slevin, a couple of young lads from rynaghs maybe etc. ?? A couple of Brosna gaels lads maybe. ??

Re: Clubs in the doldrums
I would actually like to see some of the weaker teams in both hurling and football joining up to form senior clubs. it would add extra spice to the group stages of the senior hurling championship and football championships. With 14 teams in a senior championship it would make it that bit more diffic...

Re: PROGRESS!!
Good to see Mcdonell in contact with players and getting the show moving for next year. Ollie baker has just been raified for a second year and is to add a selector after the departure of Paudge. Is Ollie baker going to follow in similar footsteps to Mcdonell and get the ball rolling with the senior...
