Re: Senior A hurling 2018
It appears that the fixtures secretary is giving his club an unfair advantage over Coolderry, Rynagh’s, Birr, Shinrone and Belmont(possibly Clareen) by fixing KK’s game in O’Connor Park. I hope that this can be rectified, because quite frankly, bringing KK and Kinnitty to OCP is bullsh*t. It may al...

Re: Senior A hurling 2018
You’re an awful bitter man shannonbanks14 towards KK You really can’t give them credit and hate to see them win. Its so obvious it’s unreal the 3 county final defeats to them still hurting bad??

Re: Senior A hurling 2018
Just curious POTH why do you to like to refer to KK as Kilcormac? Do you have something against the Killoughey side of the parish not getting at you at all, just wondering! I noted you referred to BK as Ballyskenagh Killavilla.

Re: Senior A hurling 2018
Loose cannon.... Doesn’t matter if he has or hasn’t that was a shocking tackle by Clancy and the punishment doesn’t fit the crime. He should get 3 months at least. He’s a poor keeper anyway if that’s all he can do to stop a lad running through.

Re: Senior A hurling 2018
Behaving in a way which is dangerous to an opponent is a Category III offence and carries a one match suspension. He is constantly doing that tackle.... How long can you get for dangerous play? Disgraceful cowardly act. He deserves a lot more than just a one match suspension. That was terrible, he ...

Re: Senior A hurling 2018
We have no inter county teams left in any competition? Am I right?? Can someone explain why we can’t have a club fixture list for at least the next month? Can’t be that unreasonable of a request? It’s now Sunday evening, I presume there is a round of club hurling fixtures next weekend? Players/mento...

Re: Offaly Senior Hurlers Championship Thread
On current form Offaly have no right to be competing with the top 4 in Leinster because they can’t compete with them. An average beaten of over 15pts per game tells that story. Comparing Kilkenny of 2014 with Kilkenny of 2018 is a bit of a joke! Playing teams of a higher standard has done nothing fo...

Re: Offaly Senior Hurlers Championship Thread
Really disappointing ending for players and management. It really looked like progress was being made, but 4 championship matches in 22days was just too big of an ask. It’s tough to drop out but we are not close to the top 4 in Leinster, but dropping down is not going to help us get closer. It’s a r...

Re: Offaly Senior Hurlers Championship Thread
Great read POTH thanks for that. And yes, I’d also prefer not to hear any team announcement until ten min before throw in. This was always going to be the big one. Hopefully these lads can show what they are made of, this week will be tough on them mentally but they owe it to themselves to put in on...

Re: Offaly Senior Footballers Championship Thread
Round 1 on the road to the Super8s... great chance, both teams will fancy their chances! Round 2 v Leitrim. Our attacking play in full flight now and we march on. Round 3 v Cavan. Revenge for last year. Team is well up for it and after a massive second half of throwing off the shackles we win by 5pt...

Re: Senior A hurling 2018
Take K/K out of ocp and results start going the wrong way Bullshite statement! It’s only April, they’ve a load of injuries and had a long campaign last year. But that shouldn’t take away from Belmonts win, they fully deserved it and with two wins under their belt they can seriously think about push...

Re: 2018 NHL
Yes, can get level on points with either Galway or Limerick, but head to head would come into play. Similarly, Dublin or Leix could get level on points with us, but the same would apply. Explain how we can get level on points with either Limerick or Galway?? Apologies, I made a mistake. Brainfart o...
