Re: Offaly Vs Wexford in the Leinster U21HC
SAD DAY FOR OFFALY HURLING Where was the manager as this shambles was unfolding. Did the manager or the selectors attend any u21 games within the county. Can somebody please cry halt before any more damage is done to the game in offaly. Is its a case of the "manager" hid because he is conf...

Re: Aidan Bracken Building Design Under 21 Hurling Champions
Sharp Eye it seems evident that there is some kind of dislike towards Lusmagh, but before you start writing up here you should get your facts straight. I was in Lusmagh on Sunday to see the u21and i must compliment them on the grounds and the number of stewards. While there on Sunday i met a good fr...

Re: County senior hurling championship
You average one post a month and then you go mouthing off against a valued contributor!! What’s the story? And who is the referee and could you outline some poor decisions he seems to have made please?[/quote] Well for start he gave a penalty against lusmagh in the wrong, in the process of clearing ...

Re: County senior hurling championship
And I thought it was so the milking could be done in time for Mass! 6 referees would be do-able alright. You'd have Gavin, Cooke, Walsh, Kirwan, Carroll and Groome. Getting 24 umpires, when all the hurling clubs are in action at the same time could be a tall order though. Which reminds me, stewards...

Re: Offaly vs Galway NHL 20/03/2010
Encouraging 2nd half display from offaly today, being in division 1 is doing us the world of good, thought we lost the game in the 10 mins before half time where galway scored 5 or 6 unanswered points, dublin did the same last week but thankfully we were 6 points up before they got them scores last wee...

Re: Offaly vs Galway NHL 20/03/2010
Offaly have a very good side out against a weakened Galway string, would be suprised if Offaly dont upset if even beat galway. Ger Oakley is a big boost for Offaly back after injury and no doubt will lead from the front in defence with Brian Carroll likewise in attack!! It should make for an interes...

Re: Offaly v Dublin - NHL Division 1 - 14/03/2010
Today was a great day for the county to beat one of the leading contenders for the Liam McCarthy , Offaly showed great heart and determination to drive on and win. For me the winning of the game was the introduction of Ger Oakley a great stalwart of offaly hurling, roll on Galway where i hope to see...

Re: Team's for sunday's games never announced
wat difference does it make whether the team is announced or not, for ye that dont know the team would go in for the programme on the monday before the match and alot can change in them five or six days so its better to pick the team closer to the weekend??
