Re: County Under 21 football championship
Was at the Broughans and Colms game last weekend, Two very poor teams, excellent come back by Colms. Very few players impressed, midfielder for Colms was good and kicked a few nice points, bracken wing forward scored two nice goals. For Broughans Brian Connor scored 1:1 and Willie Mulhall 1:9, e was ...

Re: U-21 Leinster Championship
What a terrible performance!! Everything was wrong with how things went on saturday in tullamore!! For a start i didnt really agree with some of the starting line up, John knight was a strange candidate for full back and was clearly way off the pace of the game, wing backs were very strange ...

Bracknaghboy u r trying to tell us that nialler is better than matt connor but look what happened when the pressure really came on today, would never have happened to matt the trasher. Niall is still a class act.

Re: New Jerseys Please - A call to all Fans
I wouldnt agree that carroll cuisine have pumped a lot of money into offaly down the years. For instance they gave something like 70 thousand to the conty a few yrs ago for sponsorship for the year but the tyrone county board was given 250 thousand. I know that a lot of it comes down to success and ...

Re: First indication of football panel for 2009
This is crazy, Frank Weir is not good enough for county football anymore, fair enough bracknaghboy you may have seen him play with bracknagh this year or last but he is only playing intermediate football and marking less capable players than himself. I totally agree however that weir has been one of ...

Re: Richie Connor set to become new manager
I tend to agree with you LS, clive murphy did okay on casey but even though he didnt slip him much he still handled an awful lot of ball. I yhink oceans 15 is being a bit harsh on willie mulhall, he was clearly not fit to play and it was only going to be natural for him to want to represent his club ...

Intermediate final
All thats left now is the intermediate final!! Who will win it?? Who are the key men?? Croghan seem to be the much fancied favourites from chatting people around. In my opinion they will be too strong for walsh island, wouldnt be surprised if it turns out like yesterdays match, any comments??

Re: Football Challenge - Offaly v Derry
Heard that niall was on fire aswell!! Heard that it was a very good performance overall just like the mayo match. Offaly wanted the win much more than derry. Seemingly it was derrys 5 game in 21days!! Scot brady and shane sullivan had to be taken off due to injury but i dont think it is anything ...
