A fully fit and firing Rhode senior team (even with its high age profile)would beat London.
Players downing tools in a fashion like today, does not bode well.
The manager is irrelevant in that situation today.
It’s the worst result in Offaly Senior footballers history?

Re: Club Football Championship 2022
Not trueDidn’t Edenderry basically ban anyone playing anoy other sports this season if they wanted to play senior football? Ridiculous if true.

Re: Div 3 South predictions & general comment
he's an elite stopper at the heart of the defence, the type of guy you build a team around. Moloney a very good footballer but first and foremost for my money, your centre back has to be a defender and a stopper. Moloney loves barrelling forward and good luck to him. The positioning of David Dempse...

Re: 50 years on, how Offaly won the 1971 All-Ireland final
Brilliant Stats and Facts there POTH. Its not rocket science and the old Irish saying comes to mind , 'Mol an Óige agus tiocfaidh sí' The foundations were laid in the 50's and 60's for what happened in the early 70's. I have to marvel at the fact that people ponder the lack of success at adult level...

Re: Byrne v Duignan
The man running for Vice Chairman is being championed as a great strategist with huge experience of strategic plans. Well the Edenderry development plan 2010-2015 failed to stop hurling becoming extinct in the town after a proud 100 year history. Have to pull first time on this hopping ball.....it ...

Re: Meeting In Tullamore
This 'bring the hurling back to birr' idea is old news and a waste of energy. BNM O'Connor Park is the county ground, and the HQ for Offaly GAA.
Move on FFS.

I agree with the posters above that long term it will be a good thing that these two are playing Under 20's only right now.....they are been allowed develop at their own age group. but cripes almighty I'm still thinking back to that meath game in Navan......run the two of them in with 10 mins to go....

Re: NHL Division 1B 2019
I know this is a hurling league thread but I'm going to dive in here. I think it is important to be aware that Strength & Conditioning is only one part of the fitness pie. My take on it, for what its worth, is that fine tuning the body in the gym with a combination of a structured weights progra...

Re: NHL Division 1B 2019
Quite the opposite, it now seems. Now, we all know the coaching and preparation in Offaly has ranged from poor to non-existent for two decades now, but Offaly hurling could do without the coffin screws in the shape of exclusion from their own province. Who is the coaching officer responsible for Hu...
