In a fight between Mattie Forde & Shane Sullivan, Sullivan kicks Forde's sorry ass back to Strawberryland

Brady was unlucky to be sent off. Hopefully there will be an appeal against the second yellow. Yesterday's ref had a bad day

Sadly, I think you're right. What Forde did was disgraceful - Shane Sullivan's lucky he didn't have his neck broken or worse. The GAA's record when it comes to dealing with matters like this is deplorable. There are way too many nasty assaults like this taking place and the perpetrators going unpuni...

I know this doesn't answer the question but certain counties would be very happy to advance.

I'm sure the people who bought the short-lived jersey that so upset some bods on the county board so much they had to change it again would be eager for another change. Image

At least you weren't on the bus stopped by the guards on the way to a match that had its own bar and lads sitting on barstools

The best robots ever were C3PO and R2D2 from Star Wars. One says "We're doomed" a lot, not unlike supporters of the Offaly football team. The other looks like a Nilfisk

Personally, I'd like to see Galway compete with us in Leinster. We need more competitive matches against decent teams - sadly, run-outs against Leix (a county where their hurling skills are optimised for beltin' lads) and Dublin don't provide us with that at the moment. I don't see any harm in raisi...

Top 20 GAA moments

Yes, I admit my Offaly bias is coming to the fore here but I thought Seamus Darby's goal against Kerry in the '82 All Ireland final should have won. I wonder did the presence of other Offaly moments in the top 20 split the vote?

Ah now. To be fair Mark Daly was quite a looker in his day and had a nice curly head of hair. The fact that that was 20 years ago is another matter entirely

The worst thing about this was I walked into work today to find the match report from the Irish Indo propped up on my keyboard and the headline highlighted in orange. There's nothing worse than a gloating Carlowman (or two gloating Carlowmen in my case)
