Re: Tullamore Tribune Revelations
Coffey is right to throw a dig at previous management! It was a shambles from day one, or should i say when cooney took the job as he enjoyed his two week break in the sun. There were only 20 lads training the last night he trained them. Some setup!
Whether the previous setup was a shambles or ...

Re: Tullamore Tribune Revelations
Firstly, Tom Coffey is interviewed and straight away throws digs at the previous management for their failings and lack of "professionalism" with regard to training and treatment of certain players. If he was informed enough, he wouldnt have made some of those comments. While things obviously ...

Re: Lost in the Bog
Proof that junior clubs don't hold you back at all. Saw Philip play for St Marys Edenderry yesterday against Moate in the North Leinster Colleges league final. He was outstanding, man of the match stuff.
ah here lone shark, very surprised at u for saying that. How is that proof? How many junior ...

Re: new football manager
Good man Darby.....eh I think the problem was you refused to go back and meet the county board when they contacted you!! The only conclusion I can come to is that this fella clearly does not want to be the next Offaly manager. If he did he would simply have gone back to meet the county board when ...

Re: Mcnamee quits Offaly panel

And how would that help?
I appreciate Niall's frustration and that it's coming from a good place, but I've named four players there, all of whom have earned the respect of the footballers in Offaly and all of whom ...

Re: new football manager
How's about this scenario for you Kevin,
You have just been told you have a possible job starting tomorrow, two other candidates are in for the job. Your goal is to improve the work load 10 fold in 8 months. Although under the current climate a job like this would be near impossible but your ...

Ah here, Now we're defending the county board!!!
What in the name of Jaysus is wrong with half of ye? Are ye insane? THE COUNTY IS A LAUGHING STOCK TO THE REST OF THE COUNTRY! This is the sole blame of THE COUNTY BOARD! Not Sheedy, Coffee, Darby Or Niall Mc.
Maybe the people doing the defending ...

Re: new football manager
At the risk of raising another thorny topic here, I wonder how much of this is down to the fact that our county board is overwhelmingly dominated by public servants, as opposed to business people who understand that three months of stagnation is essentially conceding ground to rivals?
That's what ...
