Re: The Betting Thread
50/1........theres worse bets than that this weekend. LS I hate that when they put such small max bet limits online, however march into Powers shop and nobody will question if you want to have a 10 or 20 Euro bet on it.

Re: Offaly v Carlow, NHL, 08/03/09
I know one of the Carlow boys off yesturdays panel and he was gutted after the match. They were dreadful beyond belief. He text me during the week to say they were quietly confident of being in the game with 15mins to go now they realise how far off the pace they really are. Its a pity. They looked ...

Re: Offaly v Louth NFL
Fellas were actualy trying hard for every ball, running after even the lost cause ball. We have not seen that from an Offaly team in the last 4 years. We are still limited but there is potential and looking at the league tables in the paper this evening we are only 1 point off top spot in Divsion 3!

Re: Offaly v Carlow, NHL, 08/03/09
Carlow have a better full back in Shaw than us and Carlows Shane Kavanagh is better than anyone we have to put in at #6. Kavanagh was missing from the Laois game last week but I hear is 50/50 to start againts us sunday. This will be a serious battle in expected poor windy conditions in Tullamore. Ca...

Cheers Beirut. That list is perfect I only hope that they update the website as changes are made to it (as they inevitably and understandibly will from time to time).

Fed up with Official Offaly GAA Website.
Anyone else feel the same?? Numerous games on this weeks fixture list have changed or have already been played but are being advertised as going ahead tomorrow. Last week they got the entire Division 2 fixture list wrong and it was up wrong all week. My advice to the county board would be to keep it...

Re: The Betting Thread
Just have a feeling this weekend that Cork could cause a shock against Galway. Galway have a poor team out missing id say 9 that will start in championship. Add this to the McIntyre factor! The +13 is still available @ 5/6 with Boyles. Not as standoutish as the Rossie bet a few ago but certainly th...

Re: How to treat a match like Kerry
Seems like Dooley is taking no chances and rightly so....Sundays team: 1. Brian Mullins, Birr 2. David Franks, Carrickshock 3. David Kenny, Belmont 4. Stephen Wynne, St Rynagh’s 5. Kevin Brady, Coolderry 6. Ger Oakley, Carrig & Riverstown (Captain) 7. Paul Cleary, Birr 8. Rory Hanniffy, Birr 9. ...

Re: How to treat a match like Kerry
I'd pick the strongest 15 players I had at my disposal and attempt to humiliate Kerry by as much as possible. I'd experiment by sending the lads out to go for goals only. Set a target of 10 goals, maybe 5 per half and then hit over a few points at the end. I dont care what the opposition is like the...

Re: League Football Round Up
KK gave Ballyfore a walkover in a religation game last year. Crazy behaviour. Hard to believe they were senior a couple of years ago.
