Re: Offaly Hurling Championships 2014
Smashed them. Time to actually start giving credit to this KK team.

Re: Hurling Championship
Also, big thanks to the regular contributors here who give great reports and analysis. Really makes a big difference to those of us who are further afield and can't get to the games. Keep up the good work.

Re: Hurling Championship
Over for the game and heading down the N4 very much looking forward to this final. Good crowd, 2 evenly matched teams, good underage rivalry...hope the rain stays away. Very hard to call, but being biased going for KK to nick it hoping that they have saved their performance and peak for this game. B...

Re: Kilcormac lodge an objection to semi-final fiasco
Loneshark, I agree pretty much with what you say. I am not to familiar with the appeals processes available to clubs in situations like this. I also agree a statement from K/K explaining the reasons for their appeal and a "fair play" to Tullamore would have helped too. I think the appeal f...

Re: Kilcormac lodge an objection to semi-final fiasco
Does anyone know the status of this appeal? Has a meeting taken place on this issue yet? Or has it been dismissed? Just in relation to the episode, regardless of the rights and wrongs of the game there are certain points of fact (not opinion) that need to be addressed. 1. Incorrect player sent off 2...

Re: Senior Hurling semi finals - 03/10/2010
as for tullamore they have also beaten K/K for the last two years who have won nothing and think they have a right to think they are better than tullamore. and the way there fans carried on when Shane Dooley was taking the frees was a disgrace booing and roaring in the stands and they weren't kids w...

Re: Senior Hurling semi finals - 03/10/2010
If it was Coyne, he should have come forward taken the yellow and would have stopped Slevin being sent off for a second yellow. Someone in charge should have been using the head. I suspected it was Coyne just from the positioning of the players at the time, and I even think he looked like coming for...

Re: Senior Hurling semi finals - 03/10/2010
Disappointed K/K fan here. So many issues in relation to todays game that I am sure the powers that be will hand out some fines and suspensions/bans. First off well played to Tullamore again. They have discipline, fittness, great work ethic and no shortage of skill. I hope they go on to win it out n...

Re: County senior football championship
There are 2 or 3 lads from Kilcormac who I think would be very strong candidates for the senior footballers after seeing them in the Junior this year, some of them were successful minor players not to long ago. It is a shame that dual players aren't accomodated better, I can't see why in terms of fi...

Re: Offaly vs Tipperary SHC Qualifier Phase 3 17/07/2010
Just on your point there Uibhfhailiabu, teams staying in the dressing room way beyond the allocated time is a low tactic. I lost respect for Galway when they did it to Offaly at Portloaise in the replay and Tipp took the piss too. It was 4 minutes and 40 seconds between Offaly taking the field and T...

Re: Offaly vs Down SFC Qualifier Rnd 3 - 17/07/2010
I agree with most of the above sentiments, was a performance from the players that could not be faulted. Was very proud of all the players today. Just a few points. 1.One slight criticism I had would be the option taking amongst some of the forwards. Perhaps not even so much the option taking, but t...

Re: RTE & Ger Farragher's "wide" from last Sunday
I think this a bit of an overreaction. Unlike live commentary, the highlights are just reporting what actually happened and what actually happened is that a point was awarded to Galway. No issues with the broadcaster here. I don't think there has been much of an overreaction to this in that it was ...

Re: LSHC 30th May Offaly v Antrim Parnell Park 3:30pm
Best of Luck to the lads this weekend. I think we could have a bit of a decent run this summer and perhaps take a few middle tier scalps, and a real shot at a Leinster with this squad in the next 2/3 years.
