Is there a Westmeath Site this can be posted to?

I don't think we have many lurkers out here.

BNM - you'll definitely get the desired reaction if this finds its way to the GAA Discussion Board...

In New Jersey Ron

Will need internet radio.

Also learned that I should be able to get a broadband subscription through Setanta. I've got a few days to get squared away here.

Thanks for the additional link which may very well come in handy.

Internet Coverage of the Westmeath Game

Would anyone know where i could pick up the audio of the game on Sunday over the Internet?

I used to tune into rte.ie, but heard that they cut off the feeds. Do not know this for certain...

Thanks in advance for any info.

A Tough man to keep down

...but it doesn't sound so great.

It will be tough going without him.

Any news as the day draws forward would be appreciated.

Have a nice w/e.

Compress the Championship

One way to move it along is: No draws - hence no more replays. Replays are a drain on...everybody. We already have a backdoor as it is. The schedule makers (without having to make allotments for replays) can then compress the Intercounty Championship Schedule without worry. Draws are sometimes a fai...

Let's stay in the shadows a little longer

Seems like McIntyre is a solid manager. Could someone closer to the action comment on the inputs to the scene Regan and Kelly bring? From afar they seem like an excellent combination. I was surprised to see Daithi get so involved at this level. I remember a few years ago that he pulled back from pla...

I would like to see this happen

I don't know the practicality of it on the ground (as I am not on the ground), but that timing and allowing for the clubs to get underway would seem to have its merits. Hopefully we can help them in their quest to start their championship early by sending them into a qualifiers bracket by 5PM on Jun...

Cordial

I don't see his name listed either. Any reason other than lack of availability?

Re: Offaly hurlers to play Wexford

Agree that Wexford needs to be put in their place. It will be great when we beat them. 2X would be nice, but June 11th is all that matters. This game is huge for us. McIntyre will have in the back of his mind that he was sent packing after losing to Wexford before. he certainly won't want to be havi...

What next?

Its easy enough to be objective from afar while watching the soap opera that is the Offaly GAA Fortunes unfolds. The hurling is rebuilding and I have not heard any calls for McIntyre's head, which is a very good thing as he could use a little time in this his second installment. The football situati...

Not to worry

I don't profess to know as much on a day to day or overall as most any of the posters out there. I agree that beating Down by 4 points is a bit disappointing, but I can imagine them being whipped into a fury for a home match against us. I can see a scenario where Cork are just getting organized and ...
