Amazing

Limerick have a decent league, could have beaten Tipp. Then this? I'd prefer two tough games against these two. I guess we'll have to wait and see. The way we've been playing lately, every game will be tough. Clare were 'not so good' but still won comfortably. I guess we'll have to see if that is me...

The rest of the qualifiers

'The Rover' - I hope you are right. Very surprised that we could not handle Dublin comfortably. A win is a win, but it sounds like there is not much to inspire tremendous confidence. On thing is for sure. If we can come through our group we be a heck of a lot better prepared for the QFinals then has...

Not Fair

Agree the system is not fair at all.

That stated, I'm glad we're in the tough group. Hopefully Sunday was just a bad dream. If we come through the group stage we can definitely say that we've improved.

No TV

I was bitching that this game was not televised.

Now it has to be seen as a blessing.

It was hard to listen to, had to be nearly unbearable for those present.

On to the qualifiers. Hopefully that will put us on a positive path.

The Reason for the Appeal

'We wish to emphasise that this is
being done to safeguard the integrity
of the Rules of the Association, so
that a definite ruling will be made and
all units will be in a position to be
fully compliant with it.'

All the GAA should thank them for this public service. Ourselves included!

Hopefully Justice will prevail

LS, thanks for posting this. I had just read Hoganstand before (they have since posted the article about Offaly prevailing and Kildare appealing)and was about to launch into a tirade on accountability which is too late to stop (sorry). You gotta love it. The Leinster Council completely abdicates wha...

Sounds like

1.Hannify should sit out 'til the next day if here has a bad hand wound -regardless of the opposition.

2. Gerry Russell - this man has a good sense of humor.

The Team

B Mullins B Teehan, P Cleary, D Franks K Brady, R Hanniffy, D Tanner G Hanniffy, G Oakley B Murphy, M O'Hara, M Cordial B Carroll, J Bergin, A Hanrahan I know the new guy is coming along, but have to say Mullins can be spectacular and from the look of things he will need to be on his toes all season...

Agree

Laois can't be allowed to see the light. We need to jump on them early and keep the fresh legs coming over the 70 minutes. We can't be bashful about putting the game away as early as possible - should the opportunity arise.

Deehan

Looks like he can be a game breaker. I think future opposition will view him likewise and plan accordingly. The other end of the field is the concern. I felt badly for Sullivan. He should have been called ashore in fairness to ... everyone involved (himself included). The only reason to leave someon...
