Re: Laois v Offaly – Leinster Hurling Quarter Final 7th Ju
Well done Laois on a fully deserved victory today showing a gameplan,a system, hunger, desire, physicality, a bullying mentality and a high level of skill ,stickwork and accurate shooting. In contrast Offaly were soft,no appetite, mentally weak, no gameplan, no ability to change , play the corners ,avo...

Re: offaly hurlers (great effort)
Have to disagree with ye lads. I was happy with the effort that the lads on the field put in. But where has Offaly hurling sunk to when we are happy and back slapping each other for a moral victory against an average Dublin side. We have never sunk so low in 35 years Offaly have to be commended for...

Re: Offaly Minor Hurlers
Johnny Pilkington was a disgrace when he hurled with Offaly . While no one can defend his management record you simply cannot say such a thing.Johnny pilkington was a fine hurler who gave over ten years to Offaly hurlers ,winning numerous leinster and all Ireland medals. A fine hurler who got vital...

Re: Cribben gets the job
I just wish we could have appointed a manager who has had some success at county level, maybe someone who improved a team. Who will be our next manager Dave Foran? . He has all the credentials ,was rubbish in his year as manager of Wicklow and has bein in the wilderness since. But he has expierience...

Well, if you speak the way you type, they probably couldn't understand what you were on about in the shop  He made a very valid point about the jerseys not being available, no need to be a twat. Life is too short to be translating what someone has posted. It takes twice as long to read gar...

Re: The season begins
With Brian Carroll Absent on sunday it will be interesting to see who takes the frees? If colm coughlan is playing id like to see his level of free taking at under 21 level tested at senior level. While alot has been mentioned about second half fade outs nobody has stated our inconsistent free taking...

I assume that's the 4 senior hurling captians, we have 14 All-Irelands! I don't think any captian captianed two AI winning teams. Correct its siqned by the four hurling captains....it was won by a Westhmeath man who kindly passed it on to old gutless08.its a lovely piece. Any ideas of anyone who mi...

Re: First indication of football panel for 2009
Any word how this is going? Anyone else pulled out or added to the squad? With a clear emphasis on change I would like this team to line out; 1) Padraig Kelly - Still gets the jersey if he wants it. About time someone started to challenge him? 2) Ger Rafferty - Was clearly not operating at full til...
