Re: Offaly v Wexford - NHL Division 2 Final (03/05/2009)
I would echo your comment on the levels of support, that 'both the apathy and laziness is infuriating ' , the showing in Tullamore for the Antrim match was shocking, hopefully we will get a good turnout on Sunday and the players performance will inspire some fervent vocal support for the lads. No d...

Re: 1995 Leinster hurling final on youtube
1995 Leinster final is on All-Ireland gold on TG4 on Saturday evening at 7.15pm. Youza. Also, remember RTE's build up to the All-Irelnd that year put several of the moments from the Keonster Final to the music of Van Morrison's 'Days like this'. Doon Massive's "two mad eejits" dancing on ...

Re: Sigerson/Fitzgibbon Cups
As far as i know Gerry grehan is the only offaly player left involved in the sigerson weekend with DIT but there is still a considerable contigent of offaly players involved in fitzgibbon especially with UL. UL play St. Pats tomorrow in a quarter final and there will 6 offaly players involved. Not s...

Re: Offaly v Longford
improved performance but for these players to gain respect of offaly people again is going to take alot! i still cant see them beaten kildare in the 1st round and will it descend into the now customary farce again without a strong respected manager if they lose to kildare.

Re: Sigerson/Fitzgibbon Cups
Yeh UL are looking good for a crack at LIT though i am a bit biast. LIT have Canning and Callinan(tipp) in the forwards so they have a serious team. As far as i know Stephen Wynne is on the UL Panel and maybe Conor Mahon. Conor Hernon is in LIT but not sure he's hurling this year. Is James Gorman in...

Sigerson/Fitzgibbon Cups
Well, the fitzgibbon and sigersons are in full swing and there is huge offaly interest in a number of teams. Unfortunately cant make any of the games due to work interest, would appreciate if anyone has info on how matches and players went. Heard one of the darbys gave an excellent performance for G...

over the past few years ive seen a good few club matches round the county and the best midfielder ive seen to date after niall smith is declan kelly. I know there are question marks over discipline but why hasnt he been given more of a chance?

Re: Leinster or Munster
As an offaly man living in limerick (part-time) I find it hard to take their how great munster are, we're always right attitude they have. Leinster aren't much better but at least they have a set which never changes..no bandwagon! Id support leinster as you cant chose where your born but Id support ...
