Re: Offaly Senior Hurling Championship 2013
The Coolderry Vs Clareen and Kilcormac/Killoughey vs Belmont games were top class games. The Birr Vs Shirone game was poor but the Tullamore Vs St. Rynagh was the poorest match I’ve seen in Offaly in 10 years, Coolderry vs Clareen Match was a great battle. The Battle between Joe Brady and Joe Bergin...

Re: Offaly county team managements 2014
Cannot help but think the silence from the county board,in particular about the senior hurlers, says it all. It looks like we will be sticking with Baker for at least another year. As bad as Joe Dooley was in charge I think he was better than Baker and that says it all because Dooley was far from a ...

Re: Offaly county team managements 2014
John Leahy has had a few years at minor and we had little or no progress so time for a change at that level. Ollie Baker has being shocking at senior, he should have being given the boot earlier this year. they is no way he should be let go on. if the county board re-appoint Baker it will kill an pr...

Re: Brian Gavin
Well done to Brian. hope he has a good game.
There is a bit of me sad to see an Offaly man in the middle of corker for the final when i would love to see an Offaly team there instead.
but next year a bit of luck, a good manager and we can be there!

Re: Offaly Senior Hurling Championship 2013
Hi lads. I have being away for the last few weeks. I was wondering if anyone had the teams and a bit of a match report from St. Rynaghs vs Belmont?? I saw belmont vs kinnitty the round before and though Rynagh would have a little to much firepower for them but they supriced me again. thanks lads. i ...

Re: Ollie Baker
I think there is generally a lack of appetite from a lot of people involved. The county board have been making sub par appointments for about 15 years at senior and underage level. This has led to bad results which has led to a lack of interest from players which has led to worse results. To change...

Re: Offaly Senior Hurling Championship 2013
belmount 4-12 kinnitty 2-14 Only made the Second half of the Belmont vs Kinnitty. Its was Bel 1-7 to Kinnitty 1-6. It was a tough competitive stuff. Colm Coughlan for Kinnitty played well got some great scores and Kinnitty looking were good with 10 mins to go and 3 pints up. James Rigney was bossing...

Re: U21 hurling v Kilkenny, Wednesday June 26th, Tellamore
Someone just told me that Tom Carroll broke his shoulder at the end of first half. he told the management at half time he was sore but want to play on. now how the physio, manager or team Doctor did pull off in the second half. well that just dangerous. protection the player must be the 1st priority...

Re: U21 hurling v Kilkenny, Wednesday June 26th, Tellamore
God. if you think about it was have a lot of good hurlers coming in the county. No one has name Dylan Murry or Keily from Kilcormac both good players in the making but still minor. the clubs in the county are production players but maybe there not production the correct type of ball winning player a...

http://www.uibhfhaili.com/phpbb3/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=5792 Compared to last year we have improved by about 1000% at this level. But for the 3rd year in a row Birr had no Player on the team at this level. Why?? Birr was always the home of Offaly Hurling. Where are all the Hurlers from Birr and mor...
