Re: Allianz Hurling League Roinn 1B 2016
Technically that's not the case. If Offaly were to lose to Kerry and Wexford were to beat Laois we would have Offaly, Kerry and Wexford all on 4 points. In this situation score difference comes into play. That currently reads: Offaly -7 Wexford -3 Kerry -32 So a 13 point loss for Offaly against Kerr...

Re: Respect
With the way this site has plummeted over the last few months and the absolutely disgraceful comments of certain posters with obvious personal agendas against the senior hurling management I too am saying farewell as this will be my final post. Enjoyed the good times but I've really grown disillusio...

Re: Offaly v Kilkenny
Waterford beat us by 27 points tonight in a challenge according to Twitter.
The players confidence must be on the floor. They don't go out to ship beatings like this and you'd have to feel for them.

Re: Offaly v Kilkenny
20 point win for Clare tonight in Killaloe. Clare 3-23 Offaly 0-12.
This is not looking promising lads. I wasn't at it by the way in case anyone is looking for a report.

Re: Offaly v Kilkenny
And Offaly are playing Waterford on Sunday In Waterford I just was on Twitter. Busy weekend for the lads. Have we even got a panel of 30 with our injuries and our county board's cost cutting?

Re: Offaly v Kilkenny
Offaly are hurling Clare tomorrow night in Killaloe to mark the opening of Smith O'Brien's new stand. Game should be a good test as to where we stand less than a month from the Kilkenny game. By all accounts Clare were very impressive in beating Galway last weekend while playing two entirely differe...

Re: Offaly v Kerry 12 April Thurles
Townman,
You'd easily do Carlow to Thurles in 90 minutes going through Abbeyleix. Actually 75 minutes would do it.

Re: Accountability
There’s so many levels to this debate it would be absolutely futile to try and address them all but I would like to refer back to the underage squads Laois have. Getting young kids in from under 10 into development squads is essential if we are going to take a long term strategic view of our current...

Left Birr today at 2.30pm. A part of me is quite surprised the county board agreed to fund an overnight trip.

Re: Offaly vs Limerick
Kilmartin gone and justifiably so due to his performance in Cork. Ditto for Sean Ryan and Dermot Moooney. Ger Healion is fortunate there doesn't seem to be another option for centre back at the moment. I'd say Rory is in full back for the long haul which might not be a bad idea. Did quite well there...
