Div 2
We probably deserve to be in Division 2, but whoever tops that Division should be promoted and whoever is bottom of Division 1 should be relegated. F*ck this play off s*ite. As for the championship, I can't remember feeliing so low about one since we won the Leinster hurling in '81.

As it stands, we will beat Carlow. We then play the winners of Meath/Kildare/Dublin. We easily beat Kildare last year, Meath just scraped into the Division 2 final and Dublin didn't set the world alight. It's not beyond possibility that we could reach another Leinster final and thus avoid the ignomy...

Underage
I think you're looking for any straw to clutch on to. I was washing my Offaly jersey last night and I ended up having a conversation with it to the tune of, "why are you hurting me so much, when I've never let you down". I saw the U-21's in a challenge against Clare last week and they were...

Relegation
I heard yesterday that there is widespread support to change the system at the next Central Council meeting so that we play the winners of Div 2, with the winners becoming the 10th team in Div 1. Whether we deserve to be there is another story. ![Crying or Very sad ](./images/smilies/icon_cry.gif)

Offaly v Waterford
I was one of the 50 or so Offaly people at the game. I was delighted leaving. They seem like a very united bunch of players. At only 5 up at half time with a very strong wind, I was not optomistic for the result. We dug really deep and never let them lead. A lovely goal from Bergin off a sweet pass ...

Offaly's chances
We shouldn't have lost to Leitrim. They've done f*ck all since beating us. According to Pat Roe in the Midland Tribune, we're well capable of beating Monaghan. I'll have whatever Pat's on. Any word on the score from the Longford game? Are we keeping our score?

Offaly v Down
O'Connor is shaky. Full back line is good. Half back line is ok but Brady is too slow. Midfield is just alright. Bevans is too selfish. Rory is off his game, but we still need him up front. Full forward line wasn't too bad. Some howler by Joe at the end. What's the story with Egan? Top scorer for UL...

Offaly
While I was happy enough leaving St. Brendan's Park on Sunday, there was a lot of food for thought. It was a good battling performance from Offaly and our backs played well. However, the goalie issue is still open. His puckouts are poor and the first goal was a bad mistake between himself and Franks...

Offaly v Kilkenny
Anyone else tipping down to see this Walsh Cup semi? It's a pity they're not playing at 2, so we'd get to see most of the rugby. Kilkenny seemed to have a strong team out last Sunday, without the Ballyhale lads. Could be a good run out with the league around the corner.

I heard that 12 lads got letters thanking them and not inviting them back. The ones I can remember are Joe Brady, Simon, Diggy, Brown, Shane O'Connor.
