Re: Offaly Hurling 2026
Think some are being extra hard on our lads. It was game of 2 halves - with and without the wind. We were within striking distance at HT after good 1st half. We were slow to get going in second but when we did, we were clearly better than them. Give our lads credit. We beat Wexford in Liam ...

Re: Offaly Hurling 2026
We were hurling against a massive wind in the first half, we did well to be within 4 or 5 points.
We started slow in the second half, which wasn’t helped by Wexford’s negative tactics and time wasting.
If ye think Offaly weren’t the better team over the course of the game, then I hope ye see ...

Re: Offaly Hurling 2026
I’ll start with the negatives and get them out of the way - over the 70 mins I don’t think we were the better team. Handling was poor which is fair enough in them conditions but some of the decision making was awful, ballooning it down to a spare man. The red card probably got us out of jail.

Re: Offaly Hurling 2026
I thought the work rate was off the charts today. I was particularly impressed with Dan Bourke and Ter Guinan, but I think it was so important that some of the “older” lads showed up today and held their own. Thought the full back line and half back line were excellent and Eoghan Cahill and Brian ...

Re: Offaly Hurling 2026
Question was 'if everyone fit & available'.
If he was fit & available, in my opinion he'd be involved and I'd have him in at no.6 no doubt.
Bit of a fantasy selection I know but that's all these starting 15 selections tend to be when your not in charge.
Surely in that case, if they were fit and ...

Re: Club Managers 2024
It's also pretty factual that when it comes to the 2026 Offaly SHC, Kilcormac-Killoughey will be the clear favourites, but the two teams that will be deemed the most likely to dethrone them, based on the quality within their playing ranks, will be Shinrone and Ballinamere, closely followed by Birr ...
