Re: Offaly Under 20s hurling 2024

https://www.offalyexpress.ie/news/gaa/1512624/offaly-gaa-chairman-hopeful-all-genuine-supporters-will-access-all-ireland-tickets.html The blame game started already . Ticketmaster and croke park told them not to take an allocation. Didn't want to burden clubs ? The people involved at committee level...

Re: Offaly Under 20s hurling 2024

This problem began when it was decided to permit Nowlan Park to host the U20 final without knowing who would make the final. As soon as it became clear that Offaly would be in the final it should have been switched to either the Gaelic Grounds or Croke Park. Not pushing for an allocation of tickets...

Re: Offaly Under 20s hurling 2024

Yeah I don't know how you could turn around and say "unprecedented demand". There was always going to be disappointed people (myself included but ill get over it, people with kids I'd gladly see go before me). But has this just being a case of the country board just saying " nah we do...

Re: Offaly Under 20s hurling 2024

I suspect Offaly turned down a separate allocation for two reasons. 1 - They thought that TM would meet the demand. The match being at 7:15pm in theory should have dampened the attendance. 2 - It's 24 years since Offaly clubs had to ration an allocation of tickets. There is no longer muscle memory ...

Only a few sections open for sale at the moment, the usual Ticketmaster playbook.
I'd give it until the weekend to see. Even with the Leinster final on, they should be any amount of options of seats/sections

Antrim manged to produce one big game and won Unfortunately for carlow thiers was a draw I don't think antrim have improved tho...

Re: Offaly Senior Hurlers 2024

Anyone at today's game ? Seemed to have being in cruise control, then let in 3 goals , bit like the laois game.
Positive to have gotten game time and scores into lads who will make an appearance in the final at some stage.
