Wow i did'nt realise my Mcnamara comment would generate such great debate, im sorry to hear Colin will not be joining the panel due to family commitments but also understandable under the circumstances, and by the way Barracuda, Superman would have found it difficult with the kickouts last february ...

One thing i noticed yesterday that in the first half when things were'nt going according to plan for Rhode a few of their players were getting a bit narky with each other and it would just make you wonder how they will react in the pressure cooker of Aughrim with about ten minutes to go neck and nec...

Would i be in the minority of one who believes that Colin McNamara should be our first choice keeper, the handful of times he has played he has never let us down and was definetly unfairly treated last year when Padraig kelly took his place in Omagh. I know his kick out is not his biggest strenght b...

McIntyre's Headache.
In the mood that Birr are in at the moment they are quiet capable of coming out of leinster and possibly winning another all Ireland on Paddy's day, which would of course be great for Offaly hurling but the flip side of that coin is John McIntyre's plans for early 2006 will be thrown into chaos.With...

Rhode in Leinster.
Anybody any thoughts on how Rhode will do in leinster this year? For what its worth i believe they will come very close to provincial honors this year. After the disaster of the Portlaoise game last year you would imagine lessons would have been taken on board as well as the fact that after the count...

Hurling semi finals
While enjoying a cracking second half of the Coolderry v Kinnity match yesterday after a painfully one sided curtain raiser, i was alarmed that in this day and age all four linesmen at the two games were not dressed in their proper gear. It looked like the lads had just come from mass in their sunda...

club hurling semi finals
Just a question for everyone, does anybody give Kinnity or Shinrone any chance on Sunday? I believe Birr will win with ease in second gear, all though I was impressed with Shinrone in the quarter finals. I've a feeling Kinnity will push Coolderry all the way but will fall short by 3 or 4 points at t...

all ireland football final
what an incredible final, and what fantastic champions! Roll on next spring when we welcome Tyrone to O'Connor park and it will only do our lads the world of good to see first hand how far we have to go to get anywhere near the level needed to compete with the best. What is Lone shark's opinion?[/img]
