Faithful in Fitzgibbon

By my reckoning, 8 Offaly men involved as panelist’s in Fitzgibbon hurling today..Conor Langton (Clodiagh Gaels) was introduced for IT Carlow in a comprehensive defeat to UCC.. Dylan Watkins (Birr) and Andy Flynn (Lusmagh) both listed as subs for NUIG, with neither seeing action.. Oisin Kelly (Belmo...

Re: Club Managements 2019

I hear the Shinrone boys are letting a Laois man dictate whether they hurl for their county or not... joke of a club

Re: Additions to County panels Football and Hurling

Certainly not a definitive list, but hurlers that haven’t been involved, either recently or ever before, that merit inclusion in a Winter training regime, to earn a place in a league panel or to drive them on to the next level.. I tried to avoid older players who if they weren’t going to make an imm...

Re: Offaly Senior Hurlers Championship Thread

The Team we picked was mad/stupid. I'm not going to talk about Sat cause we need to be positive to have an chance for next Sunday. Different year same issues. full back not sorted yet. some of our class forward workrate. two didn't do a bit of defence work over the last two games. Players that have...

Re: Offaly Senior Footballers Championship Thread

I'm not buying this nonsensical statement from the players.. it seems merely a ploy to cover their own backs and deflect blame towards the county board.. I counted 11/12 of this panel who liked Alan McNamee's tweet, condemning Stephen Wallace.. how many of these were signatories to last nights state...

Re: Junior A Football 2018

I had heard Lusmagh planned on fielding a team, but hadn't the numbers on the day to travel.. Anyways with Offaly senior hurling management now seeming to decide who plays in their club hurling matches, what hope have they got?

Re: Senior B Hurling 2018

I see Sean Gardiner was missing from Lusmagh and Ballinamere game? Is he injured and should he be ok for Offaly's opener against Galway?
Also, how did the other county hurlers on show do? David O'Toole, Liam Langton and anyone else im missing?

Re: Coláiste Choilm

There is no u20 still u21. Be hardly much for u17 maybe one or two, when this an eighteen and a half grade competition. The Banagher team that beat them originally made up of mainly galway players. Congrats to them nonetheless. If I remember information I got a while back correctly, Banagher team w...

Coláiste Choilm

Huge congrats to the Tullamore school on a superb win today! I'd have loved to be attendance as I have a nephew on the team, but work commitments curtailed my hopes. A fantastic year for the boys, with today's win over a Derry outfit preceded by wins over Galway, Kilkenny, Dublin, Wexford, Kildare a...

Re: 2018 NHL

I don't think Offaly have any hurlers playing Fitzgibbon this year - can anyone confirm? I believe the only 2 Offaly men to see Fitzgibbom action last year were Paudge Guinan of Drumcullen and Paul Kinsella of Lusmagh.. I didn't see Kinsella mentioned at all however over the summer for lusmagh and ...

Offaly Schools

I believe both Coláiste Choilm of Tullamore and Coláiste na Sionna of Banagher both beat St Brendan's of Birr in recent challenge games. I know these areas may be experiencing good spells, but surely a school with the size and pick of Birr should be winning these games? Also, what clubs are represen...
