Re: Is there a future for small rural clubs?

Of course they had an intercounty player a couple of years back who choose to leave and seek glory with Edenderry and Clonmore Harps would have had two intercounty players had they not sought glory with Rhode as well (remember all that??).........when guys do that it has a really negative impact on...

Re: Joe McDonagh cup

I have decided to vote with my feet also... I will no longer attend an Offaly football match unless it's held in Rhode. It is the heartland of football in the county and I don't see why games are held in Tullamore to accommodate people from South Offaly.... There is no doubt in my mind that if the g...

Re: 2017 Offaly SFC Semi-Finals

Fintan Pierce was the referee for the minor game and made some very questionable decisions. In fact, they weren...

Just under 4,000 for the league of nations (St Vincent's)... How are their hurling teams fairing these days?

Re: County Senior Football Final

Dreadful game. Had Rhode won by double scores there could be no complaints. Ferbane had no attacking threat whatsoever and looked extremely poor.

Shannonbridge appeared in the 1996 final. Shamrocks appeared in the 2000, 2005 & 2007 final. Gracefield 2002 & 2004.
