Re: Senior A and B Hurling Championships 2020

I don’t think he was denying it happened? I think it’s clear that he 1) just couldn’t believe it
2) Was hoping it didn’t happen!

Rule changed with him he’s gone from the squad
Surely this is a good thing for Offaly? I'm very surprised that Fennelly, considering where he comes from and the values they hold at both club and county level, went down this route.

Re: Senior A Hurling 2019

If successful, would this be the 3 out of the 8 teams in the SHC that Ken Hogan has managed to win county finals?
Has he been involved unsuccessfully with any of the others?

Re: Senior A Football 2019

That seems a little bit pointless?
Is the extra game the only benefit?

Re: Next Offaly Senior Hurling Manager

Sounds like a great appointment....but...are his talents not best utilised elsewhere....in just about every role bar manager (S&C, Coach, Performance Coach etc).
Unless he is planning to do it all himself?

Re: Next Offaly Senior Hurling Manager

All sensible. Agree too re KM & DF. Looked like a good combo. Martin even had previous Inter County experience!
Is KM's former Tullamore sidekick still running everybody connected to the Offaly job into the ground on social media? It seemed to be his favourite past time there for a period!

Re: Next Offaly Senior Hurling Manager

Interesting points POTH. I find it implausible that JQ doesn't have a good idea why he wasn't kept on. Especially after a phone call. He is not the shy, retiring type who wouldn't have the balls to ask! In one sense it is admirable that the Westmeath CB took the initiative and made a tough call that...
