Can you give more detail? I hadn't realised he is carrying an injury.

Re: Offaly Under 20s hurling 2024
I fancy whoever wins this game, will win Leinster. It was hard not to be impressed with the ease we brushed Laois aside. They drew with Wexford. I would imagine not a whole lot then between them. Also, When you look at the scores Kilkenny were putting up against Laois and Wexford, quite similar marg...

Re: Offaly Under 20s hurling 2024
Can someone give me the latest on Dan Ravenhill?
I'm assuming he will miss Kilkenny match. But is there any chance of him being back at some point for either u20s or Seniors?
I had hoped his injury wasn't serious, but maybe someone here knows more.

Re: Offaly Senior Hurlers 2024
I'd sooner play our best possible team at both levels. We did it last year with Mitchell and Bourke.
Understand arguments for playing either for one team or the other. But I'd prefer to play our best team in all matches once they are fit and able.

Re: Offaly Senior Footballers 2024
3 out of the 4 teams that finish in 3rd place will go into Preliminary Quarter finals. Finishing top 3 should be straightforward for Offaly, but if we're scraping through like that, it doesn't bode well for the remainder of the tournament. My original point stands.....3 out of 4 getting through fro...

Worth noting that 3 teams actually progress from the groups here.
You must be joking. That's ridiculous. A straight knockout open draw would be far better. What is the reason for 3 teams?

Re: Offaly Senior Hurlers 2024
Abroad as usual with work, but listened to the whole match on Midlands radio 3 while keeping an eye on the Limerick Clare game. Was bitterly disappointed after the match. But after sleeping on it, I am a little more clear minded I think. Offaly seemed to be like Clare.....In control for the majority...

Re: Offaly Senior Hurlers 2024
Why did it take so long to confirm the details of these fixtures?

Re: U20 footballers 2024
The way I look at it......It is still within Offaly's control. However, they need to win by 8 points or more in order for other results not to matter for them to finish in top 2. Unfortunately Offaly's scoring against Longford won't be counted in the 3-way Offaly, Kildare and Louth tie breaker. Off...

Re: Offaly Under 20s hurling 2024
Can I just ask about the rule for players involved between u20 and senior that was so controversial in the lead up to our match with Cork. Does the same situation stand? No impact for us because of Joe Mac participation....... I say this as we obviously have more senior players again involved this y...

Re: Offaly Under 20s hurling 2024
Love these lads. Dublin are always a tricky opponent underage and our lads got there in the end. Was hurling myself today while this match was on. Conditions were horrendous where I was and didn't make for pretty hurling.....not that I'm able to play that style anyway. But great to get up and runnin...
