Re: Senior A and B Hurling Championships 2020

Or the hurling will go 2 groups of 4 and it wont be criss cross. You will play the teams in your group. Top 2 in each team to semi-finals.

As an aside the football probably wont be criss-cross either this year. Just traditional groups of 4.

Re: Senior A and B Hurling Championships 2020

An early and not well thought out prediction is that we will have a very truncated county championships towards the end of the year (possibly even straight knock out) and all provincial club championships will be scrapped to make time for these championships to be held.

Senior A and B Hurling Championships 2020

At a later date I'll probably post some sort of a prediction for the year ahead but for now I had a thought when out walking: Each club has 7 games in the group. I'd love to see the following for each team to drum up some interest: 2 home games, 2 away games , 1 game in OCP, 1 game in SBP and 1 game...

Re: Offaly Hurling 2020

Current scoring difference has the following:

Antrim plus 63
Offaly plus 48
Kerry plus 27

So an Offaly win of any sort puts them in the final vs Antrim.

A draw eliminates us.

An Offaly win by 37 or more points would see us play Kerry in the final!!!!

Re: DIV 3 NFL predictions and general chit chat.

Today's result is probably fair reflection of where we are in the food chain. Being totally realistic we are a mid to lower table 3rd division side who haven't the quality to make the jump into the top 16. And all evidence accumulated over the last decade and a half conclusively proves this. Maintai...

Re: DIV 3 NFL predictions and general chit chat.

Joe Maher is a total embarrassment. How many championship matches has he won with Offaly? And he's releasing "statements". Lord God.

Re: Kehoe Cup 2019/2020

I agree with all the sentiments above.

Winning 2A and the Christy Ring cup are the tangible essentials of the year. Anything else is a failure.

To make a decent stab at the Joe McDonagh in the Summer of 2021 we must be playing Division 1 league hurling in the Spring of 2021.
