friend of mine involved with the clare minors.. offaly thumped them 3 or 4 weeks ago in limerick. he said to me you will be going up the country to see them young lads a good bit later in the year.he reckoned they were v good..then clare beat someone reasonable after. just shows its hard rate minors...

the hurling league is a farce for the top teams .limerick tipp galway waterford kilkenny and clare used it as giving lads trial games to see were they good enuf..they knew relegation wasnt going to happen with antrim laois and offaly in the groups..football is different and way more competitive. id ...

lets hope we do beat antrim. but all logic and evidence says they are playing a level above us. they should have beaten waterford last week and ran kilkenny close. meanwhile were getting good trimmings from similar level teams. and laois seem to be staying in games longer,and getting lesser beatings...

i often despair when i hear offaly people supporting kilkenny. as for donal og and loughnanne being as they are ,the kilkenny crowd were a lot worse after 98 etc..time to send them back where they came from talk. we were there too long having the cheek to regularly beat them. they were royalty after...
