Re: Byrne v Duignan
Can i ask a question regarding the Byrne vs Duignan debate. I know each club gets a vote but who actually decides, i assume it is the secretary but do they go back to their club and and decide or how does it go. What i am getting at here is like the All Ireland B as we could call it and the people ...

Re: Leinster Under 20 Hurling Championship
Following on from the minor win 2 years ago ballinamere followed it up with a strong second half to claim the U20 title. If you were to say at half time that ballinamere would be comprehensive winners not many would agree with you. They were second best for long periods in the first half with birr r...

Re: Senior A Football 2019
To say Clara lost their heads for a 10-15 minute spell in the first half would be an understatement.2 reds, 4 yellows and Brian Darby and Niall mc going off with head injuries. They completely lost it and game was over at that stage after conceding 2 goals within 7 minutes. Rhode played with Clara f...

Re: Senior A Hurling 2019
Despite Shane Kinsella putting on a performance it wasn’t enough to stop kinnity going to senior B and Ballinamere maintaining senior status. From an entertainment point of view when Kinnity scored the goal to go a point up and follow up with a point straight away they looked the likely winner. Ball...

Re: Senior A Hurling 2019
Age is irrelevant, the 2 Mahers and Seamie Callanan are all 30 and will be there again next year. I remember years ago I think it was Edenderry juniors who had all ex senior players play a real young team, Edenderry would get in positions with balls bouncing over the other team. Would Tullamore have...

Re: Leinster Under 20 Hurling Championship
Very disappointing tonight as I think Wexford were there for the taking. Last 2 games now were only a puck of the ball with a minute or two left. Some really nice hurlers that fought to the bitter end and a never die attitude. Lot of these will be U20 again so this year will stand to them and for ot...

Re: Leinster Under 20 Hurling Championship
One thing i dont get is how different the team is now compared to the last 2 years that played minor 2017 and 2018, how were we not able to compete at minor but able to at U20. Was the wrong team/management there the last 2 years or have they done great work and prepared this group of players. I kno...

Re: Offaly v Leix Round 3 Qualifier
I think at half time when it was 10 points apiece that unless offaly scored goals they wouldn't win and so was the case. I had watched Laois play westmeath in tullamore and they dominated the middle of the field then and are big strong men. Offaly were lucky if they won 4-5 balls around the middle t...

Re: Offaly U20s Hurling
Fantastic win, there is hope down the road. For all the negative talk about all the northern players in the team they didn't do too bad.
Is it Wexford next week in tullamore?

Re: Offaly V Kerry JMCD cup - can we win this game?
I agree 100% with Regan on this. I think if you train and commit all year then the least you deserve is a face to face conversation as to why you are being removed from the panel. It wouldnt be easy but then thats why you are a manager. For this player who Regan mentions in his twitter reports then ...
