Re: Intermediate Football Championship 2014
Am sure that Shamrocks goal now is to win the intermediate hurling, this might affect the football . Ballinamere will lose to Kil/Kil on saturday so all efforts will go into football then with Durrow. Raheen would be favourites overall for me with 50 50 Durrow and Shamrocks. At start of year the goa...

Re: Clara v Durrow Junior B football S/F shambles
I was thinking the same as lone shark myself, how many games did someone strike an opponent and not get sent off and they score a few points later , too many steps all these are down to mistakes by referees( they are human). Remember hawk eye with Limerick minors last year and they were robbed by th...

Re: football championship 2014
So after tonights results we know 5 of the 8 teams in senior B next year Walsh Island, Tubber, Ballycumber, Kilcormac/ killoughey and Raheen. Likely quarter finals in senior will be Ferbane vs Gracefield and Tullamore vs Clara. The second of these a repeat of the semi final last year with Tullamore ...

Re: Intermediate Football Championship 2014
Yes it appears that Raheen and Shamrocks will top their groups and qualify for a semi final and thus go up to senior B next year. The quarter finals will be Doon/ Durrow on one half playing Cappincur/ Shannonbridge on the other side. Durrow/ Cappincur would be the stronger teams but line up wont be ...

Re: Offaly Hurling Championships 2014
There will be no senior b in hurling.
Great win for Ballinamere tonight. should be enough for safety, excellent first year in senior.

Re: football championship 2014
Bit of a surprise with Gracefield beating Tullamore apart from that no real surprises over the weekend. Does anyone know the format for this years intermediate championship, i know previous years the top 4 in the two divisions played off in a quarter final with 1st vs 4th and 2nd vs 3rd etc, is it t...

Re: Offaly vs Tipperary - 2014 All-Ireland SHC qualifier Rou
The big following for the minors and the beating they got put a lot of people off going to portlaoise . The poor offaly following has always been mentioned, remember 98 and the part 1 vs clare and they said it was a very small offaly crowd. They never mentioned anything though when we were sitting o...

Re: Offaly Minor Football 2014
The least said about tonight the better, from queueing to get the ticket to the game it was a disaster. The power, build and speed of the Dubs compared to our slow movement was the match throughout. They ran straight through and Offaly couldnt handle it, in 2 or 3 years some of these could be on the...

Re: All-Ireland Hurling Qualifiers Round 1 Antrim v Offaly
A great victory for a team under big pressure, does anyone know when the draw is on for the next round, with the players back and a couple of weeks strong training things look a lot better.
