Re: Senior B Hurling 2018

Just on this, the guideline (don't ask me if it's a bye-law or what it is) is that the referee brings his own umpires while the host club provides the linesmen. Of course, if the referee lands without an umpire, that just further stretches the resources of the host club. . . . Surely Ballinamere if...

Re: Senior B Hurling 2018

Was at the Shamrocks Drumcullen game! Shamrocks were very poor in the first half with some very poor shooting whilst Drumxullen were much more efficient in possession! Shamrocks really only got going after they went down to 13 men, trailing 8 points to 6 at the time scored scored the last 7 points o...

Re: Offaly Club Hurling C'ship 2016

7 adult games fixed for OCP before county hurling semi-finals. If a bad turn in the weather comes that pitch will be in some shape for the semi-finals. God only knows what it will be like for the final which will be played on October 23rd!!! When have you ever seen OCP cut up for county final days ...

Re: U21 Hurling Championship.

I assume Kiely isn't starting due to being suspended after the red card against Wexford last year?! And realistcly Langton and Mahon aren't good enough for the U21 team nevermind the senior panel!

Re: Walsh Cup 2016

All the south Offaly posters here just seem to emphasise the fact that they're not real Offaly supporters! And the attendance backs that up even more! If ye had any interest in the game there'd be no problem in making a short half hour journey to Tullamore! Not as if we're living in Cork where it co...

Re: 2016 Championship

Drainage is quite clearly a problem in SBP if they couldn't host the second game a day later! There was no problem with drainage in O'Connor Park last weekend when they hosted Cappincur on Saturday and Cooldeery on the Sunday! Or was the rain heavier in Birr? :P
