Re: Offaly hurling manager??
Can't see the team changing to much from what lined up in the last two rounds. Anybody know of any recent challenge matches? I know they got beaten by Waterford 2 weeks ago or so but they surely got any other game under the belt since?

Re: Walsh Cup
What players are to come back? I don't know who is available or unavailable for selection... What's the story with Joe Bergin, Colin Egan? I know Shane Kinsella is gone for a while with an injury. Anyone know what players are definitely coming back? I like the look of the backs we had on Sunday... V...

Re: Offaly hurling manager??
In terms of new lads in Eoghan Cahill, Daniel Maloney, Enda Grogan, Aidan Treacy are in just to name a few. I'd imagine there is a few more on top of that. Looking forward to the games coming thick and fast from now to see what we have.

Re: Offaly hurling manager??
The senior players are back in training and there are a lot of young players in there too. Some players are carrying injuries of course and they will be back later in the year.

Re: Offaly hurling manager??
This years panel is much the same as last year apart from 5 or 6 new faces which had very strong club championship campaigns which is good to see and some faces that posters on this site will be delighted to see because I have seen their names mentioned on other threads.

frankthetank The supporters tried to vent their frustrations in other words. The ref did give them some going over for the biggest part of the game

Re: Offaly Club Hurling C'ship 2016
Was at that Clodiagh Gaels game over the weekend. There were a number of factors in that game that that contributed to that defeat. Ratoath were very physical (almost Clara like) and the young Clodiagh Gaels side couldn't deal with it. Ratoath had their midfielder sent off on a straight red early in...

Re: Offaly Club Hurling C'ship 2016
Agreed. A senior B must be introduced. Shamrocks and Lusmagh were down a number of starting players at the weekend which contributed to the wider scoring gap but that is not saying they would have won the games in question. K/K, Brosna Gaels and Clodiagh Gaels are the front runners in intermediate a...

Re: Offaly Vs Kerry
Correct Colin Egan is out for 6 weeks with a broken rib. Big loss to the panel after losing Conor Doughan to injury. Offaly dos not play at all well against Kerry and lost by a single point. No reason why they can't go out and beat Kerry by 5 or 6 points at the weekend and have a go at Laois. On a s...

Re: Offaly v Carlow, Leinster round robin Saturday 7th May
Absolutely agree. Imagine what bringing fellas in now would do for team spirit. Éamonn Kelly has more cop on than that. And I'm backing Éamonn Kelly. There is no way lads who refused to join the panel and train with the lads for 6 months shhould be brought in less than 14 days before a vital champi...
